Always want them to qualify etc etc but on a straight club vs country question SFC come out in top nearly 100% of the time for me

I'm as patriotic as the next person hypo. Of course I want them to win the sport we invented but I'm afraid once we invented it that was it - we left every other nation to take the invention and improve it. Lets be honest watching England play most of the time is as dull as dishwater. I'm waiting for the day England tear another nation a new one - but I won't be holding my breath. The whole England set up needs to change.

That's how've I feel about watching England tbh. We are dross.

Not so sure about that alps - for me I still think he is absolute class however I'm just not sure he'll ever do enough in the PL. I went to the Bristol City game knowing that he would be playing. He managed to score one of the best volleys I've seen in a long time but and this for me is the crux of the matter the rest of the game he was woeful - over/under hit passes in the main. I was hoping to see a good display from him given the opposition but he failed dismally - so for me he has a hell of a lot of improving to do - I'm just not sure he can.

Now let me think about this...........Saints win every time.

I saw him before the Swansea game walking away from the ground - so not even in the stadium for the game which I found a little odd TBH.

How do you change part of your history exactly? ;-) I didn't like the stadium being called the Friends Provident ......... Didn't stop me from turning up on a freezing January night to support the team tho as changing the kit (no matter how much I dislike it) will not stop me from supporting my team. Now if he changed our name to something other than Southampton Football Club then I might just stop going.

Don't see the Don as being a traditionalist - he knows what he wants and will go with that traditional or not. He is not scared or prevaricates over making a decision which in my book is fine especially as its always what is right for the club either commercially or footballing wise. Love the way he sees closing the commercial gap as a challenge - speaks reams about the man and his mind set.

I like to think we have a more measured approach to attacking ie one where if caught out our team doesn't take forever to get back into there defensive positions and that starts from the front men
