Agree with this. think you need the wide men of the 3 to really put in a shift when defending/pressing and expect you'll see Davis, Punch, JWP etc rotate in there during games and in the season.I dont think you could have Lallana, SRL and Ramirez in there together unless were behind and chasing the game I see SRL and Osvaldo being fairly fluid in terms of the movement etc, think of how Sheringham used to play with Shrearer, Cole etc
-
Or he could be the next Michu and be sensational
-
On their forum they're saying Caroll will be out until October and the lad they have now is awful. Given they've bought about 20 strikers in 3 years and not one has been first choice for any period of time says it all
-
I'd have him in straight away, think that will benefit him most and why wouldn't you
-
Lets hope he comes here wanting to do well, can settle ok and keeps his head screwed on
-
Haha Cortese FTW
-
WHU have just given Stuart Downing 70k a week! They have 6 or 7 bang average players on wages over 50k a week, they can't buy before they sell, they're in a world of debt and he can see we're doing this the right way by using signing bonus' up front to offset weekly wages Basically he's an old fool who has poorly mismanaged that team

Toby Alederwied would be great, what a summer that would be!
-
I was actually giving your info credence, not questioning it!
-
Monk has said the same thing

You and TheVMan, real ITK's

Blimey

Love this Football Zone @Football__Zone If Southampton buy Osvaldo, they will have spent £42.5 million more than Arsenal during the transfer window. #AFC

I genuinely thought he would never come here so whether by luck, great work by Cortese or whatever here's hoping he lives up to the bill. Wowsers From L2 to the Italian no.9 in 3 years Blimey

Can we have a TapaTalk page, it's page 98 already so ill go for 106!
-
Now he's bulked up a bit JWP is the sort of a player who will bust a gut for 90 mins, getting up and down - if he can add a bit of pace, trickery, creativity he could really be something else in a few years. He's better than Guly obv but still think Punch has more of an end product/goals and the ability to take someone on. So JWP is great away and Punch more at home...
-
Wheater has been a disappointment. It's clear that Hants are a one day side and they have all but given up on the 4 day format, following the money which i suppose is inevitable. Would like to see our Academy producing better though
-
Have to say was surprised Punch didn't get in the team esp given how well he did end of last season and in pre season, perhaps MoPo sees him as more of a threat at home. I guess with the pressing game it's good to rotate players in there. You could swap in Punch, gaston and Davis next week and not lose anything. Nice problem to have

With Maya to come back and hopefully another striker we should improve even more And even better is Fox is now not part of the first team
-
MLG, you best get back on that Celtic forum and tell them how good Wanyama is
-
Superb result. Lovren and Wanyama were outstanding, as was Shaw Bug ups to JWP and Chambers too
-
Deserved that, weve been the better team. Shaw, Wanyama and Lovren have been immense
-
Rickie looks tired, gonna suffer if we have no-one else who can play up top
-
Actually think Ramirez could be a difference maker here, something to pick the lock Not sure if were playing well or if WBA are pretty poor or both
