I've just witnessed a poster called Nude (I've made this name up to conceal his/her true identity) castigate a Saints supporter from behind his/her keyboard for wearing a Saints wig to a Saints match. Nude called said supporter a "freak" in what was his 16,123rd post on this forum. Now, I'm no expert, and I consider neither party a "freak" (live and let live etc), but is there irony at play here?

I bet that he smiles, laughs and enjoys life more than you do. I also bet that he hasn't cracked up over 16,000 posts on an internet forum... What was that about freak? I don't expect a response.

I thought the atmosphere was good given we were pretty much singing on our own all match. Rarely have a great atmosphere when you face fans as quiet as as Pboro's!

You seem to define a proper fan as someone who will do anything to get to the big games, I define a proper fan as someone who will do anything (yet sometimes fail) to get to any game. I know someone who was at Hartlepool away with me last season but can't make Friday, what are your thoughts on them? Apologies if I've misunderstood your initial point.
