Agreed, a lot of people speaking of yesterday as the potential turning point (possibly influenced by the Millwall performance/result), but I reckon we may well look at Cardiff more in this regard come the end of the season. We've played each of those three when they've been very much in form as well.

I'm not Rio's biggest fan at the best of times but believe this is a tad harsh. He was just standing up for his team-mate and refusing to shake hands with someone found guilty of racial abuse, something I'd find difficult to do as well.

Anyone ever played numbers in ring of fire? Same principle applies here, I start the counting from 1 and others carry on. As trashy as the tabloids are, I find they pay far more attention to the lower leagues than the broadsheets.

Hopefully this will be an eye-opener to fans who sometimes go overboard with the abuse they dish out to the people in their club's boardroom. Mr Doughty seemed a decent guy by all accounts, he was a true fan and invested c.£110m of his money in Forest. Unfortunately the spend, spend, spend strategy many of their fans wanted wasn't sustainable (is it ever?) and, on cutting back the budget, he received some horrific abuse (I experienced it personally when I went to the City Ground a few weeks back). RIP Mr Doughty, you only ever wanted what was best for your club.
