  1. Who exactly are you to tell people how they can and can't watch football? If you want a ticket and are eligible for one, then buy one. That's literally the only guideline you need to follow. Absolute tool.
  2. It'll be P*mpey at Fratton. I can feel it.
  3. Hope the injuries aren't too bad. Can anyone advise on how Danso, Mousa and Boufal played?
  4. Redmond injured =/
  5. We could really do with Lemina here. Stopping a counter and turning it on it's head.
  6. https://cricfree.sc/watch/live/brighton-vs-southampton-live-streaming Best I've managed to find. Foreign commentary and a channel logo floating around the screen every so often but decent quality. Can someone explain what happened for the red card and why they seem to be boo'ing Valerie? Only turned it on just as they were disallowing Brighton's goal.
  7. Brighton is now a must not lose.
  8. Waiting for someone to claim they're "lucky" and "don't deserve it"...Always makes me laugh.
  9. Total myth. He was never great, he had that one decent game at Arsenal that time. Other than the only saves he made were the ones straight at him and half of those he parried. Never had any command of the box and couldn't get to anything lower than his waist, can't catch and his distribution was always appalling. I really like Forster as a person (from what I know) and wish him all the very best. I've never heard anyone say a bad word about meeting him (though I haven't myself). I was delighted when we signed him because his performance for Celtic against Barca stuck in my mind but sadly he's been massively disappointing. Hopefully a move will do him good. All the best, big guy!
  10. Erm why? No one should be forced to donate ANYTHING out of their wages. Wages are something you earn. Regardless of whether the general public thinks you're overpaid, that's what your employer has decided you're worth and it's YOUR money.
  11. He'll be remembered as an average footballer who always gave 100%, loved the club and is an absolute gentleman off the pitch too. I say he's an average footballer, people mistake the word "average" for "poor" these days. I do just mean it as, if you were to rank the best CBs in the league, he'd probably be somewhere near the middle. We're lucky to have someone of "average" quality who is happy to come in, be a squad player for a club like ours. I certainly can't think of any better 3rd/4th CB outside the big boys.
  12. "Anyone who thinks _______________ is not a true _________" is on par with "That was Hitler's logic" as incredibly arrogant and ignorant. As stated above, I'd much rather have an away game against a team I can get to. So I can actually go and watch it...How that makes me "not a true Saints fan" is beyond me.
  13. I live in Plymouth and Home Park is within walking distance to me. I work most Saturdays so getting to games is a bit difficult. But no yeah, I'm not a proper fan because I want to go and watch the game. Fantastic.
  14. Skates would be a terrible draw, particularly at Nottarf Krap. We'd get beat and never hear the end of it. West Country team away would be amazing.
  15. Leeds was 3-1 for the record, they got one back at the end. Max Gradel penalty if I remember rightly?
  16. Anyone else think Valery is massively overrated? Not just going by today because everyone was utter dog sh1te but in general, I honestly don't think he's that good.
  17. Sweepstake on our first scorer of the season? I'll go Big Daddy V. He has to get one sooner or later.
  18. Cuco...I could watch that all day. I was there however at the other end of the ground and from my angle, I saw the curve he got on it but had no idea, until I saw the highlights how far out he was.
  19. He stands exactly 6'3 Kevie, Kevie. He'll help us win the Premier League Kevie, Kevie. We've no idea about the fee, He comes from Ralph's home county. Kevie Danso, Southampton's trunk of tree! *Gets coat*
  20. Echo reporting it as matter of fact.
  21. I had my heart set on Big Vic coming home. Tbh, I think it was more sentiment than anything. I'd even been considering having spaghetti tonight in celebration
  22. That'd be weird. I really like what I've seen of him, I'm surprised they want to let him go but it's not exactly a position we're desperate for cover in. Unless Cedric is going to leave because we can still sell to foreign clubs after today right?
  23. I would LOVE Wanyama back.
  24. Brilliant news though I can't help but feel they're announcing this today so as to distract us because no one is coming in. So that we'll have the "Oh well at least Redmond signed a new contract, that's like a new signing!" Like I said though, good news for sure.
  25. This. People know damn well that there's a possibility of any game being moved for TV. This isn't a new phenomenon, it's been happening for nearly thirty years. I'm sure there are people who work every Saturday who this is probably a blessing for. Might not be the majority nor are they thinking of those people when moving the games but as you said, don't buy a season ticket if you can only do Saturday 3pm.
