I remember his comments on MoTD when he was quizzed on formation after a poor performance and his response was along the lines of being required to play 4-3-3 ('cause that's what this club does). We're now dominating and winning games - sometimes without playing well, in a way we never did under MoPo. Today is a great example........last season we would have been camped in their half, with 75% possession and likely got stung by a counter attack. Seem far more balanced now...happy to concede space/possession, and knock it long if needed. That said...65% is pretty damn good!

Like him. Basically the same fee as Gaston. One of them runs a lot and is a thorn in the side of the opposition and has little end product, the other has excellent skills and potential is injured a lot and has little end product. Think I prefer Long. A real 'moneyball' signing. Glad he scored, glad he's with us every week rather than against. Good squad option.
