So they didn't explain the significance of the numbers? THE main line of mystery from day 1. That is very poor. Did they ever explain how Locke ended up able to walk? What happened to Walt and his Dad? How come fatty Hurley never lost weight? Why did the fit brunette never get her thrupney bits out?

Any more detail? They died in the crash and 'dreamt' it all; went to hell? Purgatory?
  3. Driving your frog to a river sounds a LOT like an innuendo Particularly if you have the mind of a 12 year old, and too much time on your hands.
  4. Packs of 17 year olds farting around on 50cc mopeds Women drivers The two bee nests in my wall My achilles being fooked again so I can't run or train Job hunting
  5. I really can't see why people are getting the ****s with this. So what if there are minor differences in quality. Is anyone other than the most anal really going to worry about this in the middle of the game?
  6. Christ. I only scanned the first page of posts, but people clearly believed it....... What a bunch of dicks.
  7. I would not claim that there is a 'full service history' - I cannot find any service book, However, there is a history of service in the form of receipts, MOT certificates, invoices for parts etc. These date back to 1979.
  8. I would imagine this is ********. But, I guess we might offer him a 1 year deal as back up to Rickie. Pay as you play, obviously.
  9. Nail. Head. Hammer. Shame to see some go, but it does signal ambition. Invariably the handful of replacements we get will be of far higher quality than the ones that have left. Really looking forward to a summer of transfer activity. I wonder how early in the summer will make signings? Hopefully not the lastminute, lets not pay their holiday wages, Lowe school of thinking.

Anyone still watching this? Apparently the last ever episode is due to air next week. I enjoyed the first 2 series then got fed up with it. The producers buggered it up by dragging it out far too long. There were way too many episodes that did no more than fill airtime, and the scriptwriters clearly got themselves lost. I am curious to know how it will end though, and to know what the island was, how/why the people ended up there, who the others were etc. So save me the pain of watching it, can anyone give a brief summary?
  11. Having played 10 or 12 matches now, I have now got bored with it. Good fun, but a bit repetative really. Glad I didn't pay for it...... Right - on to Silent Hunter 5.
  12. They're all drunk, Scottish, heroin addicts with names like Spud and Begbie? (or sad gits in raincoats with cameras)

    Callan

Watching the old 70s spy-type show, 'Callan' on DVD. Remember it vaguely from when I was a wee boy. Edward Woodwood in great form. Looks very dated, but strong scripts, some decent performances, fairly dark in nature, and overall very engaging. Thoroughy enjoyable.
  14. I really am in love with this club again. Integrity, professionalism, ever increasing community-spirit, and finance to drive us forward. Optimisim is a thing we have rarely had the taste of over the past decade.
  15. Relatively new - certainly last 4/5 months. I think it is on XBox too.
  16. Hate to see it go, but needs must. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1978-LANCIA-BETA-MONTE-CARLO-/230473495185?cmd=ViewItem&pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item35a94a7291
  17. Can't disagree with that. I hope to hell he is staying; he may not be the best manager in the world, but he is pretty good: certainly capable of getting us out of L1, and we could do with keeping things on an even keel for a while. Rarely smoke without fire though.
  18. Soap opera Saints again, eh? Oh for some stability. Hope you are wrong but I have a feeling......... So: better for him to go now or in December next season?
  19. C'mon. More detail. Sitting here watching Se7en. I think the eighth deadly sin is posting rumours on internet boards! Tell us more good man!
  20. Is a good laugh. I used to be a geeky spotty kid into D&D, wargames etc. Loved the original Blood Bowl board game. Basically American Football, played by fantasy races, with loads of fighting. I am now a geeky, spotty 30-something, and love computer games. Took a stroll down memory lane by getting hold of Blood Bowl. 'Turn based' mode replicates the board game, with decent graphics and amusing commentary. Simple, violent, sport based fun. And yes, I have called my team the Saints......
  21. ...which I think classes the dismissal as 'Automatically Unfair'. I might be wrong though; bet your lawyers will know!

    David Hirst

How can a former professional athlete NOT have the self control and self respect to avoid looking like that? Christ!
  23. He is? Always looked bigger to me. So, how big is 9 inches then.....?
  24. How would you feel if we signed Lee Hughes? (Note - I am talking purely theoretically here - I have no evidence to suggest we might). 31 goals in 43 for Notts County. Big, strong target man type. Could be a decent shout as cover for Rickie next season. But.....the baggage. The type of guy you would want in a Saints shirt?
  25. Stunning. I am not a huge fan of heights, and some of those gave me butterflies. There are some nutters in the world, but you have to take your hat off to them.
