  2. Why not they are great for us old gits at walking football. You will be a relic one day very soon. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  3. It is Baker Chalobah Murphy are worse Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  4. Holgate and Chilwell so wasteful. JWP delivery caused issues but rest final ball abysmal. Abrahams looks a handful but hardly seen Baker. Redmond just comfortable but kicked every time he moves. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  5. Spot on - how does a player get motivated if he does what is asked then get dropped - not 1 minute in 4 games....replaced by players that can't hit a cows arse.
  6. I'll take another 2 good seasons...may be better candidates available as well in 2 years.
  7. I don't understand why some people would want Pellegrino over De Boer. We need a manager that could attract players Koeman just has with Klassen. Ok his Inter wasn't great but his Europa campaign was without all his major players at that time. All managers fail somewhere. Look at that Judas git Redknap and his spell here thats airbrushed out of history. From To Record P W D L Win % Ajax 6 December 2010 11 May 2016 262 158 57 47 60.3 Inter 9 August 2016 1 November 2016 14 5 2 7 35.7 Total 276 163 59 54 59.1
  8. Maybe our new Chinese owners can tempt this Chinese manager.... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andr%C3%A9_Villas-Boas
  9. Puts above winning at home and away?
  10. TBF Nick Whiskey George deserved all he got - that side should have cruised it but his dropping of Rasiak at crucial times and the insistance of playing players on wrong wings. I remember one game we had 5 players playing on the opposite side to natural we had no balance. You are correct the Ipswich game where Lowe set the Green Army on his own fans and the protests outside the boardroom were toxic - although they did pull the curtains across. Puel lost the players and the fans look at the walkaround never saw so few in the ground - only those in dressing gowns and face paints - he had to go really.
  11. Well it was one of the games that Puel didn't do it that I lost it with him - Danny Rose tore us a new one for 25 mins yet did Mr Puel change it at half-time? That was my issue with Claude at home he was tactically inept along with Watson/Pascal/Black who all should go as well. Against Spurs we were brilliant for 20 mins - then surrendered and just let them take over tactically - ok they are a good side but you counter a sides threat well a good manager would. My point about FDB was that he actually made the change so recognised a fix . Of course the crux is who we recruit player wise too. Thanks no issue with you we all see the game differently just get a bit fed up with Always constant sniping at others.
  12. Frank De Boer is getting written off here but I saw him actually make a good tactical change against us away. First half all our threat was down the flanks - he shut that down second half - something Puel never ever managed to do. All managers fail somewhere - Koeman/Poch did before coming here so maybe FDB will shine here who knows if he gets the job will give him at least until h/t v Swansea. :-)
  13. Pies nope never eat at SMS do moan about the sh1te beer though and definately about the substitutions because Puel was tactically inept at home whereas you just retouch your face paint and tinsel wig and accept everything and moan about anyone else on here that doesn't wear a Saints dressing gown like you.
  14. Its ok am sure a gushing lickspittle like you will cream your knickers over every anti post.
  15. Jeremy Wilson‏Verified account @JWTelegraph 26m26 minutes ago In terms of Thomas Tuchel and Southampton; he was on shortlist but with others and not at top. Not sure it worked from either perspective
  16. Agreed they let him down badly and should go. Tactically inept. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  17. Do you think after spending £220m they will honestly be hands off....would you? Given the almighty clusterfck the club made last summer and season just maybe new blood is needed but the reports of Lander don't read well.
  18. It was also filmed in Austria not Switzerland but hey....
  19. Great article and this is exactly it for me: Conversely, not much has to go wrong for those fractures to appear. One of the idiosyncrasies of this Puel situation is that, if it comes to pass, the decision to let him go will be both harsh and entirely reasonable. Southampton haven’t been entertaining, but they’ve achieved a solid par in literal performance terms. The problem, instead, comes in the form of a Je ne sais quoi...something is wrong, but nobody knows quite what it is. The football he’s coached hasn’t quite been bold enough. The players don’t seem to like him quite enough. And there’s a lingering feeling, especially among those who have his team this season, that – in spite of what the league table may say – this is an imperfect marriage which is better off annulled. Something in the air isn’t quite right. In this instance, that’s sufficient. Most managerial situations are erroneously judged on a criteria best applied only to the biggest jobs in the country. Jose Mourinho’s status at Manchester United and Antonio Conte’s employment at Chelsea are, despite the high-stakes, far more cut and dried, with those jobs depending on clear landmarks and achievements. At Southampton, success is more ethereal; they too strive for the shiny emblems, but the determination of progress is altogether more vague. The emphasis, really, is on the creation of a certain a mood – a mood which, unfortunately, Puel has been unable to foster. When his departure is formalised, he will leave not because of what he has failed to do this season, but what he appears unlikely to do next year.
  20. Lander deal reliant on Virgil being with us until complete then a sale gives them a quarter back straight away.?? Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  21. Away from home maybe but at home.....if people really want to talk about stats and rotation effects on here - go work out the last time the stadium was only a quarter full at an end of season walk around I can't remember it ever being that bad as this year. The fans decided to vote with their feet to show they had enough of what was being served up by a tactically inept management team - not just Puel. Oh and Sims was MOM the match in that Everton game ...he played a lot after that one didn't he! That taught him a lesson just like Clasie.
  22. You missed you score a goal you get dropped...

  24. Dont read the tweets following that picture on Twitter - jeesh what a bunch of deluded fckwits those scousers are. #CandleforVirgil #alwaysthevictim
  25. I thought it was posted on here that Bertrand was signing for Spurs? His body language last few games was enough to show he had something lined up or want away.
