1. Studied harder at school - all I did was play football - save me all those years slogging at night school 2. Sold my shares earlier befor the crash...lost about 30k 3. Had my kids earlier - we had 10 years on our own first 4. Taken the chance on a few houses before we moved and stayed too long in the one we did.

I remember him as a marauding full back looked a pretty good player until I think he snapped his cruciate ? He was never quite the same player when he came back. Good to hear he is recovering.

A New Charge Against Southampton Football Club
Give it to Ron replied to Gemmel's topic in The Saints
Could the charge be for the extension to the training ground plan? -
I used to give Brian a lift to my games he referee'd from the Warren - a great guy and caught up with him last year at the Tyro finals my lad was a ref at. A very nice chap and great ref. RIP Brian

I had to laugh at Wembley the other night the announcer said you can donate just £3 on your mobile to the Bobby Moore fund...yet then old saggy chops came on announcing it and it was a £5.....where did the other £2 go to?

Have we reached top level pricing at St Mary's?
Give it to Ron replied to Turkish's topic in The Saints
Yep...and you will be able to post up a lot more of these threads because the crowds will drop and drop because not many will be able to afford ST and Europe games as well. Its all individual choice but I can't justify a grand for me and my lad and I will go and watch local leagues. -

Not just Tyro :-) CSYL games this weekend nearly all had 10 am kick offs ..no wonder poor Ian who does the ref allocation hates Saints games on Sundays as he doesn't get many refs. As Steve puts it all out below its getting to the point where I am considering giving up my ST next year as I run a team and coach and it a complete rush to get to games. I have already reigned in away games and watch at the Horns. -
Southampton the 4th crappest town in the UK
Give it to Ron replied to alpine_saint's topic in The Lounge
Southampton doesn't get many tourists??...or have I misread that? -
Doesnt matter Spain are after Diego Costa and he has played for Brazil firsts!!
-
My lad is in a local Refs Association and they had a Prem League ref as a guest speaker and he said exactly what happened is how they correct wrong decisions by trying to level it up. Trial by TV for refs is a mare as they get 10 seconds to decide unlike pundits who get to watch it over and over again in slow motion

You dont think we were under the cosh first half versus Fulham when they played us off the park? So Cork never played but they still waltzed through our middle so Victor signing was worthwile then if Cork is not fit? Has anyone argued the fact that Cork and Schneideling were a good partnership? If you had read what I put you would of seen I am an advocate of playing all 3!

West Brom twice - Fulham away

Contact tickets@saintsfc.co.uk they have always been more than helpful when I have had problems.

Think we underpaid for him.

+1 His passing was far better than Morgans, Lamberts and Lallanas! It not his fault we paid 12m for him what is he meant to say Oh no I am only worth 2? Wanyamas big problem is he is not Jack Cork and that is down to the manager not him, why not play Cork and Wanyama and Morgan in front of them? What has Lallana contributed so far this season?

Post Match Reaction: SAINTS 0-0 West Ham

I agree to a point but I tyhink Wanyama has added that steel to midfield that was missing - I would play all three. -

Thats the point I am making IMO and I watched him closely he wasn't that bad - certainly no worse than Morgan yet I don't see one comment on here about that. Wanyama passed the ball several times to really good positions moving it quickly and positively not backwards and sideways like Morgan was doing yet he gets slated because he is not Cork. Lallana's touch was awful when put through yet again no-one is calling for him to be dropped!
