  1. I remember the very same being said about Zamora when at Brighton....the very same Zamora that has been outstanding for Fulham this season and even scoring regularly in European games. If he goes he goes ...we will buy the next best in the division with the money hopefully.
  2. Thanks....that is who I was talking about in my original post !! ;-)
  3. There is an Irish Bar near Times square down a side road by the Big Sports bar did a nice Irish Stew $18. The big Sports bar is amazing you have little FST above the urinals to watch the game whilst having a leak. If you fancy seeing a show do as someone suggested above or head for South St Seaport (this is what Ocean Village should be!) http://www.southstreetseaport.com/ there is a Tkts booth here opens about 10 but you need to be there 9:30ish usually half price...we saw Hairspray - 2nd row and was fantastic. Whilst there have a look in the A&F shop(discount store) you will see some of the most beautiful shop assistants you will ever see. There is a pub here called Heartlands that brew all their own. Have a wander to Brooklyn they do a brewery tour on Friday so I am told - we missed it but plan on doing it next time. Avoid Little Italy its crap...we had a meal here and it was expensive and ended up having a row with the waiter about the price as we were offered a deal by the Maitre 'D....no horses head on my pillow next day so it was OK. There are loads of little Delis for breakfast if near Tribeca I can recommend one. Try this bar if near here http://www.mudville9.com/ do good chicken wings and loads of different beer.
  4. If you go to Macy's go to floor 1.5 take your passport and you get an additional 10% off anything you buy.
  5. Everything you want to know is here http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=2230655 Get a 7 day subway card cost about $27 and so easy to use. We stayed at Tribeca which was walking distance to loads of bars/restaurants. 15 minutes from Chinatown/Little Italy/South st Seaport/Battery Park/Ground Zero. I felt far safer in NY than I ever do in London. Staten Island ferry is free and get good pictures of SOL don't bother with paying ferry - sit on the right side of boat. Don't bother Empire State do Rockerfeller(Top of the Rock) go at sundown to get best of both costs about $30 and is awesome for views. Times Square pubs and restaurants are expensive and crap! If you want to try something expensive and different look at The View at the Marriott Marquis.
  6. Double Glazing. Will not tconsider Anglian, Pure, Apple or Safestyle.
  7. How reliable is this? We have had 3 quotes...the lowest is the only one on Check a Trade and gets good feedback and scores.
  8. Are you saying they are not entitled to that opinion...its a forum.....oh the irony!!!
  9. +1 I have as well....troll I came away from the last 2 home games feeling far better than I have done in many years. Having sat through the dross we have endured in the last few seasons it was brilliant. Saturday was no surprise....its what we have always done and will continue to do....I felt totally deflated but come Saturday will be back believing we can beat Leeds. We ALL want to be up a division but that doesn't stop us having to go through highs and lows, no team has the right to automatically go up and we have to earn it. We are rebuilding slowly and for the first time in many years I enjoy going why is that wrong...even if it is the 3rd division? Is it better being a Hull supporter right now getting stuffed every week?
  10. I do...met him a couple of times as he was going out with the best friend of my then girlfriend. Decent bloke.
  11. Nope its slander according to this..... http://www.simkins.co.uk/ebulletins/lerSlandernotLibel.aspx also how would they afford it ;-)
  12. I am not sure if Jaidi has the legs to be honest to last another season. It's a shame as he is turning into one of my favourites ( how sad is that!) and he has bought so much to the side after all the crap we have had since Michael got injured. Name drop time.... during the summer I met Alex McLeish(top bloke) near Old Trafford as we were doing the tour whilst up there....didn't enjoy it much as it's not my club but awesome ground etc. Mcleish said he would of loved having Jaidi still this season but he didn't have the pace anymore to last.
  13. No totally diffent IMO - Jaidi is a mountain to get round/over/by...I love the way the oppostion bounce miles off him! He has the 'Killer' zone...anything in that circle is his. Early days for Seaborne yet but looks promising in the Svennson mould....just need to nurture him along this season ready for if Thomas, Perry and Jaidi go at end of season.
  14. Leandre Griffet and Yoann Folly. Folly was great in the friendly v bayern but poor every game after. Griffet scored on his debut and was then dropped by Strachan. Came back under Sturrock and scored in the 3-3 against Newcastle but never had the ability to quite match his ego.
  15. Sid you are me........I only relaxed when we were 5-0 up in the 87th minute!!!!
  16. That was one of the most superb team performances I have seen. I have been going since the mid 60's but this team have everything. Morgan and Hammond were colossal in the middle, Semi and Harding fantastic support play. Jaidi and Fonte were supreme. Puncheon adds so much to this team, someone who can actually get to the byeline, Lallana workes so hard one time he chased back 30 yards to cover Harding. Lambert and Barnard works the line and defenders they have no peace. 5 - 0 does us justice we were so much better in every department tonight. Just brilliant!
  17. Because if he was a member of Junior Saints he would have a number!
  18. Now I know you are either on a wind up or your medication has run out ;-) Wotte/Portvliet ROFL!!!! They couldnt manage their way out of a paper bag look at their records everywhere.
  19. Still have the scars from EDIS and Romsey Comrades!
  20. Coppell Curbishley Dowie Paul Jewell All out of a job ATM.
  21. That Walsall centre back was the worst defender I have seen in professional football...he wasnt even Commercial Houses standard. One time in the first half no-one was near him and he thrashed it our for a throw in near the 18 yard line...I wouldn't expect my nippers under 13 defence to do that! Our attack first half had them all over the place and loved the way Ricky kept getting himself up against the small left back for headers.
  22. When the first ball was played he was off - some think because it came back off the keeper and bar its not offside - thats wrong its when the first bit of the play ...Ricky's shot.
  23. My MOM but thought Puncheon ran him a close second. His vision and passing were superb and hardly misplaced a pass. What I also like about Morgan now he battles and gets stuck in the tackle and doesnt powder puff his way out like he used to.
