May also be worth a punt on Maik Taylor who is now understudy to Joe Hart. I don't believe Maik will want to sit on the bench at this stage of his career but obviously wages and division may be an issue. As always we need a club first!

Well the one bit of 'good' news is that old Monkeyhead on SSN this morning ruled himself out of the Saints job. He wants to stay in Thailand as coach of the ladyboys.....did a quick interview with Jimmy Case who said Matt is what the club needs. Nothing new unfortunately......

Smith is out of contract was only offered a 6 month one.....6 months too long IMO. Molyneux should never of been signed as you can see why he was Evertons 3rd choice and not fit to lace Fish's boots. Saga/Rasiak are they likely to want to play in League One? McG wanted away back to Nottingham for months.

Thats the thing though...they don't have to wait for Pinnacle, if they are that interested then buy it, its bloody cheap for what you are getting. Invest a bit...get promoted and sell on for a big profit in a year or two the potential is there just needs someone to run it properly.

For the record I have serious doubs about Pinnacle, how can someone whose yearly turnover is 100k then expect to manage a multi million pound turnover club like Saints?

I have read that apology twice now and all I can see is someone being ironic and taking the p*ss.....as I have been saying all along the only way for Pinnacle to prove themselves is to complete. There is not one true Saints fan that doesn't want that.

One of the reason why GM has been against this deal is that he appears to know TL and his ability to deliver on this. The only way this all can be resolved and GM be proved wrong is for Pinnacle to deliver and that will never happen IMO.

What scares me in that is that someone whose business turnover is 100k allegedly then becomes owner of a multi million pound one. How will he cope with that amount of money ?
