About 400 away tickets still available for those(like me) who have not booked a ticket.
-
I was sitting n Itchen South block 12- oh my god- It was like a morgue!! Northam looked like it was really rocking, it was so depressing sitting(yes sitting!!!) with people who struggled to get off their feet even when we scored! Next time I'll take single tickets in the Northam!-
-
2 tickets booked at about 4pm today, had to take the Itchen corner near Chapel end, very little else available apparently
-
You didn't get as far as 'jell' then!!!!!!!!-LMAO!! Some Saints fans seem to be always negative- and yes it urinates me off too!!! There was a guy at Colchester who shouted at Lloyd James every time he touched the ball. It was boring and totally un-necessary
-
Is the ticket still available? Will struggle to make 7pm though
-
I have just spoken to both Saints and Brentford ticket office and apparently no away tickets are available at Brentford-you have to but them in Southampton!(although neither person seemed totally reliable!!) Which for a fan who has re-arranged work at the last minute and who lives in Hertfordshire means it's the home end or nothing!! And I can't manage to stay quiet for 90 minutes, so I'll have to miss the game!
-
Absolutely f'ing fantastic- really wanted this draw! No one will expect us to win, we can simply go out and enjoy ourselves.
-
Oh God, I wish I'd been there! Although the fact I was singing that in the 70's really does make me feel old!!
-
Fantastic result- ****- that last few minutes was incredibly stressful!!! God -I hate having to work Saturdays! Inbreds in the next round please!!
-
No it wasn't- a few kids started it, then about 30-40 people who should know better also ran on the pitch. And there was no excuse for the bloke swinging punches at the steward.

Having been a regular attendee at basketball in MK for the last 10 years I was surprised by the lack of crowd at the game but not particularly at the lack of passion. It takes a fantastic game of basketball for the fans to even once get off their feet and I've given up attempting to get the fans on their feet when the team runs out. I think many MK sports fans have no appreciation of what a good atmosphere can add to a sporting event and prefer to sit on their hands. Perhaps they will learn- but it will take a few years more.

Support was excellent, although as others have said, it's difficultto keeo it going when the home fans are sooooooo quiet. Players simply came over to applaud the fans at the end-there was no 'celebration' from them- given the support they were given I would not have expected anything else! Disappointed by the fans running on at the end- far more than 'a dozen or so excited teenagers', although that was how it started. One of the youngsters needs banning IMO- that's twice I've seen him and twice he's acted like a complete moron.

Just got back. Great result, I was concerned at half time that perhaps all our good work would not be enough with only one goal to show for an incredibly dominant half. Dug deep 2nd half and fought for everything- really good to see. Fans were great. Antonia was skinning their left back first half, yet we hardly used him in the 2nd- very strange!! Thought Lloyd and Fonte were both excellent. One small gripe- the young lads who ran on at the end. One was the same kid who swung a punch at the ball boy in Colchester-and it would seem he's run on the pitch before. His parents may be proud!- but SFC certainly shouldn't be- personally think that he should be banned! However-Mr Ten bellys who ran on at the end was very funny!!

Bletchley Arms Not a pub, I would recommend!!!! Enigma Tavern was acceptable last time I went. Caldecott Arms would be a difficult to walk in 35 minutes- more a gentle jog!!!!!!!
-
That's a joke, right??

Asda is next to the stadium but I think they may have staff taking close interest on how long you are parked there without shopping. There are some industrial estates close by which apparently you can park in, I may have more info on this tomorrow.
-
You may also find it's cheaper to buy tickets to MK but get off at Bletchley which is an earlier stop!
-
Interesting that they can announce this quickly, however they seem incapable of arranging tickets for away fans for the 1st leg!!

We didn't play football, no one was composed or effective with the ball. Colchester were quicker and more aggressive than us, we bottled a few challenges. Yes Colchester aren't pretty and I wouldn't want to watch them every week, but they are effective and punching above their weight due to using their resources very well. We didn't use our resources well and lost. Unlike Pardew, I don't think we deserved anything from the game, although he is correct in questioning some of the Colchester tactics, on and off the pitch. Yes the officials were poor and I'm sure the ball boys were following instructions. The ball boy incident was very poor, although his reaction did not help. Anyone else think that the 8-10 year old with the yellow jacket is just an asbo waiting to happen? His parents must be really proud!! As for the bloke who was screaming at Lloyd James all game- change the f'ing record, you're really boring!

great win- fantastic support from the fans.

The deal(s) do(es) not need to be completely finalised by 5PM.

Obviously Bizzle(isn't that a poor mans hoover?) has a major problem with Gillet. Thomas's ridiculous short pass was the problem with the first goal. As for the second goal- I'd have to see it again, but Thomas poor positioning and lack of pace was a problem in my opinion. Gillet was not perfect, but I actually thought his passing in general was very good and he probably saw more of the ball in ratio to minutes played than most other players on the pitch. He constantly made himself available to the defenders for the pass, as opposed to Wotton (who had a decent game) who is generally nowhere near the middle of the park to receive the first pass. Bizzle(I've just remembered that it was bissel that was a poor man's hoover!!), I would respectfully suggest that you know **** all about football. And unlike the carpet cleaner which picked up crap, you seem to spout it!
-
In the 2nd half, he looked slow with poor decision making. Perry may be slow, but he has got a good football brain which helps him read the game. Thomas was the one negative in the game IMO and his errors directly affected both goals.
-
Missed the whole of the first half due to a terrible journey down, almost didn't get let in as the first muppet steward said we were too late and weren't allowed in!!! Luckily a sensible steward overheard my 2nd conversation with the muppet and stepped in, allowing us to enter. On to the 2nd half- very encouraging with the exception of the centre backs- Thomas in particular. Lost his man and was IMO, culpable for both goals, particularly the first with his pass to Gillett. Harding looks a real find on the 3 occasions I've seen him. Great strike from Lallana. On the basis of that game and remembering the two cup-tied players, we still need a striker and a CB urgently. Made Birmingham look poor for most of the half, but those defensive lapses HAVE to stop.
-
Reading Pardews comments I'm hopeful that Gillett may actually get some playing time, deserves a good reception if he does come on. We need him to have a good game and for Pardew to realise he is a far better option than Wooton.
