Well.....Because I have absolutely NO FROOKING IDEA what the hell will happen. How will we play? What will the fans do? Will I poop myself again like at Chelski? Who the hell knows.

Love Matty to pieces......If I ever met NC I'd probably hate him as a person, but he is a far better option for success. Why does anyone have to take sides? Is there anyone here that has not been in a group of mates where two in the same group did not get on at all? 'Course not!

darn!! So many threads to keep up with, sorry, I woulda put it there if I'd seen it. Having said that, my line of thinking was more about whatever the heck it is that NA is thinking rather than Ramirez himself.

I don't like it, I don't enjoy it, but I think it may well be the case. I'm only saying it now so that I can have proof that I thought this when all the "I told you so" threads appear a couple of years from now when we are in the top 5. I still wish we were a "Heart" team instead of a "Cash" team though.

I know his signing was always seen as a statement of intent, and that he would be central to the future of the team.......But somehow, it all seems a lot more clear now just how well developed NC's plan is in his head. Supposedly, the signing of the new manager (I really must take the time to remember his real name, and not just call him Pinochio) was a by-product of the research on Ramirez. Obviously the search for a new manager began before that. I honestly wonder just how much pressure has been put on Ramirez to perform on the pitch until the managerial change was made. It seems to me that the first half of the season, and all the match results have maybe been a convenience when things were going badly, and an inconvenience when they improved as far as NC's master plan is concerned. Yes, this post is just as much full of speculation and bullcrap as any other on this forum. I suspect though, that we may well see a sudden spike in the performances of Ramirez. Some other players may well go on a down turn, but be outnumbered by those whose performance will be improved out of sheer fear. I think NC has a master plan much more ambitious than we can imagine, and that you could apply any conspiracy theory you like to him, but it would probably fall short of the truth. OK, I've been on the whiksy, so shoot me.

Suck it up, buttercup, and just stay for the ride. As fans, we have never been owners, never really had a say, but always hoped for the best for our team. In the past, we have had the feeling that we belonged to the club, and the club 'kinda' belonged to us. Nothing has really changed except our perception of ownership. We never owned the club, but there was always an unspoken bond that at least 'felt' like a partnership. That feeling has now been stripped away with as much style and pain as is experienced with a Brazilian wax. I will always be a Saints supporter. It's genetic. I have no choice. From this day forth, however, I understand what it is to be a fan of Chelski, Manure, City, Arse.....But without the benefits of being that good. I still want Saints to win, that will never change. I still want our fans to sing loud and proud. I just hope I can find the Saint's heart again. That indiscernible flame that hides behind the successes and eases the defeats. I want us to win, sure, but I want us to win with our hearts, not our cheque book. I want to win it all.....But you can't win it all if you lose something along the way.

I understand the sentiment. Yes, it's an exciting new start in the same way that having your throat ripped out, then being rescued by a doctor that only speaks Martian is exciting. I'm not complaining about my new start, I just have no idea who this doctor is, what he is saying, or why someone ripped out my throat while I was really quite enjoying breathing a sigh of relief after the start of the season. I have no say in all this, I will just hope I enjoy the ride.

Bloody hell. As the information starts coming in, it is looking again like Cortese might be a couple of years ahead of the rest of us. This is encouraging, and an insight maybe into how the last 5 year plan was so easily surpassed.
