Well that's ****e. Bad times. I fear for our survival, without Svensson or Davies at the back we're going to be terrible. Terrible news for Svensson, he must have worked so hard to get back to full fitness only to get injured again after his first proper game. Hopefully it's just a minor set back and he will be back.

You don't have to fill all seven sub spots. I think it's a good idea anyway, nice for Mills and White to get some first team experience, hopefully one of them will get a chance in the second half.

Still doesn't make sense, you would think JP would rather get Thomas and Perry playing together before Saturdays and if he was worried about injuries then why is Perry playing today? Perry if anything would be more important than Thomas in Svenssons absence.

Please can everyone take the minute it takes to vote no to goal music. It makes us look like amatuers and I personally cringe when any team does it, if we carry on doing this we will end up looking like Middlesboro, Wigan etc. We do not need music after goals to create an atmosphere... Vote no!

Indeed, win - win. I think people may have a problem just because Lowe signed him and it seems it was just to make a few quid. Personally I think it's a spot on idea. If he's good enough which I think it is we simply can't go wrong.

Indeed. Look how quickly Keane and Barry wanted to leave there mid table clubs for Liverpool. It's the way football works sadly, there isn't any loyalty anymore.

What do you mean by too good a footballer? If he's too good for us and he wants a move then we will at least make a few million quid profit, if he's happy to stay here for a few seasons and he's our best player than we've done well.

He's certainly a good player and should get a good partnership with Gillett going. I'd rather have a few good years from a top youngster and sell him on than have a load of average years from a journeyman.

Thomas or Stern? Seems strange either way since neither have played yet and I doubt Thomas would take Svensson or Perrys place.

Strange that Thomas is no where to be seen, same with Stern. Did he mention the subs bench?

I really hope he's ok, he will be vital to us this season. It would be gutting if he did just get injured again, I would feel so sorry fot him after how hard he's worked to get back into the team. Hopefully he will be all rested and raring to go for the big game on Saturday, he obviously won't play again tomorrow. I'm sure Thomas will want to prove a point as well.

Thomas and Perry isn't a terrible centre back pairing, a lot better than the majority of pairings we used last year.
