We will finish top 8.

Nowt is happening. The media would have a whiff of it by now and Jim White would be spunking up the walls. Oh well. One more signing would've been good but we have a decent squad to compete as long as there are minimal injuries.
-
Reckon he'll stop on the way and pop in Staplewood for one last beg at Les to let him stay here!
-
On other TDD windows the club have issued statements that we have concluded our business, as that has not been forthcoming I think we are definitely going to get one more in, depends whether it's a squad player (boring) or a first teamer (exciting)
-
Just because they posted something positive?
-
Stoke have signed Bony
-
Probably because he's on about 120k a week.

https://www.theguardian.com/football/picture/2016/aug/30/david-squires-on-the-transfer-window The winning the net spend league is what it's all about for some on here.

I think so for Premier League players, there's another months or so for non prem players.
-
you crack me up. Ok, I think we have bought 3 players that can go straight into the starting and a back up in Pied which has gone wrong. I think experience wise we are weaker but with one more signing of a striker that can compete for a starting place I would say we're as strong as this time last season. Arguably I would say the squad is stronger. Probably not as strong as may but we might be surprised.

I'll bite. Saints haven't had a bad window. There. Also makes me laugh about people complaining about a player we haven't even signed yet. Having a few options in each position is no bad thing and this player looks decent in a fairly poor league but he still has to get the ball on target which he can do by his 1 in 2 goal rate. 9 in 14 for France isn't shabby by people will find fault I suppose. I think he could be an exciting prospect.
-
We've also bought lots of players. We must be a buying club.

Represented France at all youth level, 22 goals in 41 appearances last year, 9 goals in 14 games for France U21s. Not shabby. Get him in.
-
Our sort of player with regards to age and rawness. He knows where the goal is by the looks of it. Can see this happening.

Perez to score on his league debut for Arse...
-
He'd do his cruciate coming to us and be out for the season. We can always see where the silly money is going - http://www.oddschecker.com/football/football-specials/jack-wilshere/club-after-summer-transfer-window

Oxymoron. I would have him hear in a heartbeat though "if" he can stay fit.
-
No Need for a manager then.
-
Benteke and Remy up front. Could be decent.
-
West Ham have ruled themselves out. I wouldn't be surprised if Wenger would want him to come to us, away from the city lights of London but not too far, similar playing style now to Arse, European football so decent competition and mates with Claude.
-
Is that how it works? No wonder people are saying to bring in a load of expensive players as that would guarantee the league. Being stronger on paper doesn't win more points does it?
-
This time last year... You're not good at this prediction lark are you?
-
If Arse pay his wages it's risk free I would imagine, as long as getting him in wasn't detrimental to another signing and then Wilshere becomes injured again.
-
Yes, for Anderlecht
