Warnock at RB, Bullard in CM and Walcott at RM... Team wouldnt have got out of the group stages - we should play 433 anyway and use our attacking pace. Yes - they would have given 110% (you would of hope) but people forget that teams always seem to be well up for giving England a game and if we dont score in the first 20mins then we always struggle. Making no excuses though - we didnt deserve to get to the quarters so lets move on.

Last seasons example of a slow start is a bit more than just bringing in a couple of players late. The club was just recovering from a turbulent summer - new management in place ripping things apart and putting in their ideas. Players brought in late - players confidence low, -10 points affects players mindsets. Also think a number of players already at the club had a shock at how teams play in this league. This season, we have a settled squad at the moment, confidence will be high i imagine after last season and looking to win the league this season. No doubt we are going to bring a couple of players into the club this month, as others say the RB position is the only spot we really need asap and I would only start to question the club if no RB has been brought into the team by the start of August. All other spots can wait till the end of August imo as we have enough here to cover a couple of injuries if they did happen.

thats true, the Jerry keeper must of saw it bounce over the line - its why he done the grab and sprint towards the edge of the box. he didnt do that at all for the rest of the game when he received the ball.
