Poll: Do you think the club should continue selling memberships?
Ash replied to saints_is_the_south's topic in The Saints
There is no physical need for face cream and all that ********, so why do boots sell it? -
Either you missed another quote mark or you expected him to be very damning of his own radio credentials. Either of these makes you a dork.

delldays- Alan, why did you come to Southampton AP- I like red and white delldays- but we don't play in red and white we play in dark pink and light beige etc. etc.

By listening to their adverts I am concerned that I am lining that ***** Kelvin Mackenzie's pockets, does he still have anything to do with it? I should be getting ready to work but I listening to a couple of clueless drones talking about the Euro, tourism and some other ********. Is it supposed to be satire? Am I missing a joke? Complete and utter dog ****.

Listening now, is talksport always this ****?

Did this happen? No! The news story which featured some "Muslim nutters" was blown out of all proportion, about ten blokes acting like bell ends is hardly representative of the entire Muslim population of this country. Harping on about it just makes you seem like a bit of a plum.

Apart from scoring the winner against Leeds in the penultimate home game of the season keeping our hopes of reaching the play-offs alive.

Christian Dailly Leroy Lita (has he signed anywhere yet?) Marian Pahars

Me +1 based in Lincolnshire and going to do quite a few home games (starting with Millwall) and going to try and do every away game. Would be up for liftsharing with any kindly fellow saints as long as they are not mental or racist from Rutland.

That is it, many thanks. I forgot the disallowed bit, a cracking effort nevertheless.

I can't remember the opposition or the season as I think it happened before I was born but in a discussion like this before I have seen Keegan scoring an overhead volley which was a belter. I think it was at the dell and I think it was a night match; can't find it on youtube though. Would like to see it again so any help appreciated.

Poll: Do you think the club should continue selling memberships?

But the question wasn't do you want to become a member; it was should the club continue selling memberships. Just because you don't want one doesn't mean the club shouldn't try to make a bit of money out of people (like me) who do. I don't drink but I think the club should fill their boots selling beer to people to get a few extra squidders in. Unless the membership scheme was run at a loss (which I doubt) I really don't see what is to gain from scrapping it. -
Don't be so dismissive, with that level of backing I think Fergie would be able to get us up no problem.

Not only does the financial aspect of it make little sense for the buyer, the government could be supporting a foreign industry if people purchase a car which has only been imported into the country. Additionally, it is not particularly green to encourage people to trade in older cars, some of which may be mechanically sound and in decent condition, to get a brand spanker. A large part of the carbon generated by a car throughout its lifetime comes before it has rolled onto the showroom floor. Basically, I think it was a stupid bloody idea.

I reckon it would have been Davies, Mills, Perry, Lancashire, James, Gillet, Wotton, Holmes, Thomson, Paterson and Wotte.

It better not, I just finished series three. If it gets much better my boxer elastic won't take the strain.

My old boss banged Tiffany from Eastenders, she apparently insisted on having it up the pooper. That is a bankable true story.

The Sun reports it is going to be completed monday morning, reading the comments on there the West Ham fans are not too happy with this signing, one even saying they don't want him because he has just been relegated (like Michael Owen). Let's hope Kelvin needs love and sticks around.

Why do people focus on a couple of bad misses as if that defines his time here? I will remember him for a decent start which fizzled out into abject awfulness. His shift at the Bristol Rovers cup game was the most appalling performance I have ever seen anyone in the red and white put in, and I've seen Adam Hammil. He will not put a shift in, constantly backs out of fifty fifty challenges and lacks the physical properties to see him thrive in any of the midfield positions (lack of pace for the wing, lack of strength for the middle). He might turn into a top notch player and pick up a few more international caps but only if he grows a pair of ********. Also, anyone who decides to leave, regardless of the clubs position, cannot be described as "saints through and through." I'm saints through and through and if I had mad skills I'd rather play for the Saints in league one for a pittance than earn 100k a week at Man Utd, I certainly wouldn't leave for Wolves.

Me and the Mrs ate at the Turfcutters Arms last year when we had a week in the New forest and it was head and shoulders above the other places we tried, it was cracking food and good service.

The Official "I'm going to Hartlepool on a Tuesday" thread
Ash replied to bungle's topic in The Saints
It is Mrs Ash's birthday that day, what things are there near Hartlepool which I can combine with the trip to make it more tempting for her? She is dangerously close of putting the brakes on my season of away days
