  1. What a load of bull****. If that is genuinely how you feel football probably isn't for you, every team in the country is made up of a group of assets. Staying away from football because you disagree with the way the club is being run has to be one of the biggest loads of cack I have heard (and I've been reading this forum for years so that is saying something).

    Ebay

It was a single cd and I'm not that bothered about the money, it is more the fact that I cannot help but think they are trying to pull a fast one. Many thanks again, I shall remember you all in my will.

    Ebay

It does, god bless you sir.

    Ebay

I did get proof of postage but didn't post it recorded, do I still have to give them their money back? Is it worth taking it to the post office. Selling on Ebay is more hassle than it is worth

    Ebay

Would any experiences Ebayers be able to help me, I recently sold a **** load of old cds on ebay but one did not get delivered so the person has asked for their money back. I didn't send it recorded as it was only a few quid but something doesn't seem quite right about it to me, the person messaged me four days after the auction ended saying they hadn't received it and I didn't post it for a couple of days so it seems they were a bit keen to say they haven't got it. Do I have to give them their money back?
  7. I wish I had paid a fiver so I couldn't become fully immersed in this deeply enthralling conversation. A bunch of moaning *****es, why you keep having the same conversation with each other is anybody's guess.
  8. Ferguson is boycotting the BBC in protest at a panorama documentary which featured his son, not something a sports writer said. I really don't see the significance of Joe Kinnear calling someone a ****, what does that have to do with the Echo? Kinnear had a go at him for printing falsehoods about him, are you suggesting the Echo should take a similar journalistic route? Also, I do know this to be the case, anyone with any understanding of the media and newspaper industry knows that ou tend to keep the people you get your story from sweet unless you have a real story about them. Running headlines about how it was a mistake to sack Sturrock, not buy Saha and Malbranque, not back Redknapp, appoint Burley, be well spoken in a largely working class sport. Heads will not roll, but he will be stopped from getting access to the club. See how far his career goes then. Find an example of any other one club city where a local journalist has gone after the chairman of the local club and gone on to a national paper.
  9. Making profit on a player who signed five minutes ago while we desperately need money; how is that an example of the policy not working? Gold's normal state is gold.
  10. Local media in most places do exactly the same thing, I'm not sure Adam Leitch needs to "stand up and be counted" at all. His interests lay with his employers and his own career, why should he care at all? If he is a Saints supporter and not giving Lowe the once over, maybe (and this is going to seem completely inconceivable to people who consider Lowe the spawn of satan) he agrees with the way that Lowe is running the club. A lot of nonsense on this site about petitions, banks withdrawing their support etc. etc. but this point really is a futile.
  11. I think I am the only person who feels sorry for them, I was pleased Hamilton won but to think his lad had won the championship for a few seconds only to be told he hadn't must have sucked donkey balls.
  12. His what?
  13. Only the fourth when you wrote this, what is considered enough time before hand to put it on? I have purchased mine but I will not be putting it on until this weekend. P.S I'm all for the poppy cause but, as you say, they fought and died for our freedom, if that freedom includes exercising one's right to not wear a poppy, so be it.
  14. Not really, silly. You think?
  15. Does the teacher make the students decide for themselves the sex of every noun? Surely the children will grow up with distorted versions of the Spanish language. This sounds like a made up story.
  16. First we give you the vote now this, when will the madness end?
  17. You do know he has gone?
  18. At about four o'clock on Saturday there was no chance of us beating Preston, much much stranger things have happened.
  19. Brilliant game, sooooooo much fun. I hurt my toe when we scored the winner though Agree with what most people have said, shockeroo first half, completely different second half. Schneiderlin was immense, as was Cork, Pearce, Surman and Bradders. Wright-Phillips put in a tackle early into the second half which typified our fightback, it got the crowd and the team going. The contrast was so stark from last week, looked more tactically aware and a lot more fight. This was exactly what the young boys needed, lets hope it improves the confidence and we can spank Bristol next week. I still haven't stopped smiling, the celebrations after the last goal will go down as one of my favourite moments following the saints.

    Gobern

He really impressed me, really nice ball control. I was saying to Mrs Ash at half time that the wingers were ****ing me off being so timid with their attacking play. I wanted someone who would hug the byline or attack the defender, Smith didn't do it but Gobern did. I hope we don't throw him in too much as I think that is to the detriment of some players but it would be nice to see some more of him over the rest of the season. Does anyone know how you pronounce his name? Is it Go-burn or Gob-ern?

    Preston

I'll be there plus one, my last away day of the year due to stupid work commitments Has anyone been to the football museum at Deepdale? Is it worth getting to the ground early for?

    Lallana

Although I don't rate Lallana that highly just yet, he is miles ahead of Skacel in terms of what he can offer the team (regardless of wage/value). Lallana is a decent player but the amount of end product you get him him is frustrating, he seems to have tailed off a bit since the start of the season but he is probably playing too many games. He certainly didn't look fit against Sheffield United and Swansea. Long term, he will be a cracking player but I wouldn't get that worried about a premiership side nicking him just yet.

    SWF Mixtapes

It is a bit different though isn't it? Why can I not find other people mixes? Am I being a div? I am not a massive fan of illegal downloading but I think the action taken against muxtape was silly, I miss it so. Either way I had no idea that such a thing existed, thank you muchly. My posts are limited, so you should feel extra special.
  24. I didn't have to look too hard, you said it yourself on this thread. The same Leon Crouch who allowed the wage expenditure to increase whilst income was dwindling? What a superb idea that would be! We can carry on signing players on decent money, call back the loanees, stick our fingers in our ear when the bank calls and hope everything will be alright!
  25. You can grunt and squeal about it all you like, it will make no difference. If you are doing it to bring about change, it isn't going to happen. If you're doing it just because you don't fancy it any more, fair enough. Aside from a super rich sugar daddy (which is looking less and less likely, if it were ever likely at all) what is the alternative to Lowe? What exactly do people want doing differently at the club at the minute? I realise there are some people out there so deluded they believe Lowe is spending his time lining his pockets with the massive profits from a Championship side, but he is doing what needs to be done. We are massively in debt. It is alright saying that spending a little on Stern's wages (etc. etc.) will help us out, it is very good saying that by sticking the kids out and flogging anything with value we move closer to relegation. But what is the alternative? Is there some uber-business mind out there who can cut our debts without cutting costs? I hate to play the super fan card (but I am a ****ing super fan) I will continue to go and watch the Saints as long as I am able, ******** to the rest of it.
