Hate to burst your bubble, but most fans outside the bottom half of CCC couldn't give a sh*t about Saints. Do you go to work in the mornings and talk about how crap Leeds and Charlton are?
-
Yeah, that's pretty much what I don't like about him. He's trying to hard. I can see why people like him, but for me he is just too irritating, even if some of his material is actually quite good. I like Jimmy Carr though. For dead-pan humour there is nobody better IMO. I like Frankie Boyle, although he does tend to resort to stereotypes about Scotland a bit too often on MTW. I remember once he had to talk about Diana during that 'Wheel of news' round. He said this:

I thought we were on about next season? Euell, John, Davis and BWP are out of contract at the end of the season. They wont be staying unless they take a considerable wage cut. Perry was a free from cash strapped Luton, can't see him being on high wages and if he is, like the others, he'd have to take a pay cut next season to stay. We knew we were in debt when we gave Surman the contract extension, so we wouldn't have broken the bank on that one.

Grow up. Yes he is, as are Saga, Rasiak, BWP, Rooney, Ballack, Sol Campbell, Ashley Cole, Kieron Dyer... you get the idea. My point is having 3 players on £10k a week isn't going to bankrupt us when the rest of the squad is getting paid squat.

I ordered some prints from Kodak from last years Belgian Grand Prix. Most were ok, but an A1 sized print I ordered was very dark and shiny. Quite disappointed.

Hardly mega contracts. Only by our standards where the average wages is a shilling and thrupence. The problem with those players is we had too many of them. Last season it was those 3 plus Vignal, John, Euell, BWP, Davis, Davies, Idiakez, Viafara, Lundekvam and Powell all on £10k a week plus. There was also Ostlund, Wright and Safri who would be there or there abouts and loans like Dailly, who was rumoured to be on £20k during his time here. That must be close to £5,000,000 a year of the wage bill. We really need to be finding room on the wage bill for Saga and Rasiak if we stay up (Skacel is off regardless). Without them our wages must be comparable to your average Blue Square South team.

Comes accross as an unfunny gimp on Mock the Week, but people seem to like him.

What about depleted uranium shells?

Kelvin Davis - No. Just kidding, but surely he will have better offers. Poke - Only if one of the other 3 leaves Perry - Will be just that little bit too old IMO. Coaching role? Svensson - Not as a player. BWP - Only if he is willing to take a massive wage cut, i.e. £10k down to £3k Stern John - No. Euell - No. Sorry, one 3 game patch of form a season doesn't make up for being a carthorse the rest of the time. Jamie Hatch - Haven't seen much, but is young and cheap, so I guess so. Lloyd James - Yes, but play him in midfield and get a proper RB FFS! Jake Thomson - Yep Ryan Smith - Can p*ss off. Jack Boyle - Never seen him Joseph Mills - Will be needed when Skacel leaves Jeffrey Imudia - Looked really useful when I saw him in the resies. Can he play RB? Andrej Pernecky - Yep Jamie White - Yep, but loan him out again. Michael Byrne - Yes, also in need of loanage.

You've put a nail in his tyres? Don't worry, your secret's safe with me.

Not one Renault feature in that team. I've got Nelsinho down as first retirement BTW, so if you could slip a bit of gravel into his gear box before the race, I'd appreciate it.

I think his failed attempt to pull the same stunt on Villeneurve in 1997 confirmed it for me. He did the same to Frentzen in the 1998 Canadian GP. Oh how I laughed when he hit Coulthard at Spa '98 and Hill went on to win.

So now any bugger can play on the hallowed turf

If a group of Skates is willing to pay £4,000 to play at SMS that's fine by me. Infact I'll be the first to register on POL and laugh my ass off. -
Yeah I know, sorry didn't make that clear. And yes 1994 was a travesty. I don't get why Schumacher wasn't penalised either. He wasn't even driving a Ferrari.

I guess the 13.1m people in the UK alone who watched the season finale, were just waiting for Corrie to come on then?

If Darren Powell is one of the chosen few, a few forum members having a kick about isn't much of a step down IMO. -
A few sons of drivers currently in F1. We've got Piquet, Nakajima, Rosberg and just missed out on Bruno Senna.

If we weren't doing this, I'm sure there'd be a small clan up in arms because the pitch is lying unused all summer and we could be making cash out of it. -
Career goals slightly irrelevant for someone born in the Jurassic period. What he can do now, i.e. 1 goal in 11 games for Oldham, is relevant. Not what he did at Bradford 5 years ago. Mick Channon has 232 career goals. Surely he'd be a better option?

What happened to the SFC coach sent on gardening leave last month?
Arizona replied to Redondo Saint's topic in The Saints
He grew some really nice begonias apparently. If you're refering to Webster, he's still on the OS page, so I guess he must still be employed in some capacity. -
A guy is standing in the bar when he spots a girl he likes the look of. He goes up to her and asks her name. "Carmen," she says. "Ah right, as in the opera?" he asks "Well no actually, it's sort of a nickname my friends gave me, because I like cars and men" "Oh right" "So anyway, what's your name?" the girl asks the guy "Beerf*ck" he replies.

I have, and that's the point I was making. A left back taking 3 penalties and a free kick is a more effective goal threat than Dean Windass.
-
Well, he's half as prolific as Gregory Vignal was last season. I can certainly see why we'd want him up front.
