Indeed it will. Much better spending exactly the same amount of wages on 6 or 7 hopeless rejects nobody else wants. That may sound silly to some, but what if the FA change the rules and say you are allowed up to 41 players on the pitch at any given time? Then who's prepare. Keep up the good work Mr Lowe!

So now Lowe says we couldn't afford Pearson!!!!!!!!

Spending £1.2m on Morgan Anderton, sorry Schneiderlin, and saying we couldn't afford NP... bit like buying a Ferrari, then saying you can't afford to pay the mortgage. Also a bit like saying we can't afford Rasiak, John or Saga, but bringing in Robertson, Pekhart, Gasmi, Pulis, Forecast and Wotton. -
If she appears on that sh*thouse of a show, she will go down in my estimation. Always thought she was reasonably intelligent. A relative genius by supermodel standards. Appeared on a Weakest Link WAGs special (claiming to be a Saints fans, not a WAG) a while back and got voted out without getting any wrong answers.

I would disagree that the system isn't a problem. One up front just isn't working, especially when most of the wide players we have used couldn't cross a road. I would go back to a 4-4-2, with Euell and BWP up front and Skacel and Lallana on the wings.

Just a shame there aren't about 9 teams below us, all capable of being relegated.

Newspapers always report our best players are off to Pompey. It's what they do to rattle a few cages and sell papers to gullible neanderthals. If you believe the media, Bale, Baird, Surman and Kenny all play for Pompey, as do Walcott and Cork on loan.

Mirror (for what they are worth) Lallana/Surman get their dream move!

It's about what I'd expect. When you think we paid less than that for Andrew Davies, who was a class act in this League. We paid £1.2m for MS, who seems to be roughly on par ability wise. Surman and Lallana are two decent players, but don't exactly stand out in a very poor CCC squad. Lallana has delivered little by the way of end product this season. Surman has been more effective, but lacks pace and strength. -
Tampons.

Given that I'd have MLT in a central role, it's a tough choice. I would probably say Tessem, but only because I never saw players like Chicken George and Wallace play. -
I'm confused. Are you saying that John isn't lazy, or that he played better when Saga WASN'T on the pitch?
-
Rasiak is away for the season. John looked lazy when he was here and has never played well here when Saga wasn't on the pitch. Saga and Euell up front would be a strong partnership. John and Euell just wouldn't work IMO.

I like Jan. No it isn't pretty at the moment, but if you said to me before the Cardiff game that halfway through the season we'd be out of the drop zone, I would have been surprised. My main gripe with him is that we just aren't scoring enough goals with one up front. We've sort of got away with it to an extent, but come January we may not have the likes of Surman, Lallana and Skacel to bail the strikers out. I still think we will stay up IF we can satisfy 4 conditions: 1. Bring back Saganowski!! 2. Go back to a conventional 4-4-2 3. Play Skacel at LW. 4. Keep this squad together and not sell any of the important players. 2 and 3 are up to Jan. 1 and 4 are up to Lowe. Let's see how it pans out.

Either way it isn't a good thing. A teenager who seems to be filling the empty void in the physio room left by Idiakez.

I think Lallana needs a bit of a boot up the a*se and telling him to be more disciplined. We know he can run at players and get past his man with a few tricks. If he can do that in the middle, he can do it out wide. All he then needs to do is put in a decent cross or pull back. Can't afford any passengers in the team. At the moment Lallana isn't delivering in either goals or assist, but this gets glossed over by poor performances by players like DMG, Robertson and half out defence.
-
I've edited my post slightly, perhaps it might make sense to you now.
-
3 goals and a penalty to be precise.
-
Lallana - Cork - Surman - Skacel Euell - BWP DMG can f**k off. That is all.
-
On the plus side, the two goal scorers will likely be sold in January (because they don't want to be here and we have no choice, I'm sure). Had we played this fixture in another couple of months, it would have been 3-0 and our goal difference would be even worse.
-
Shame about the first 10 minutes. Why can our left back shoot better than our main striker...
-
BWP sooooo close apparently. We're pressing again.
-
Robertson for James.
-
Been all Burnley for the last 5 mins.
-
Thomson only booked for elbow in Skacel's face.
-
Lallana wide, DMG offside.
-
Prutton sent off for a second yellow. Coventry equalise at Vicarage.
