Yep. BA is crap on many levels. Looking a the fleets... Emirates - 777s, A330/A340 and A380 - 3 different aircraft Easyjet - 737s and A319/A320 - 2 different aircraft Ryanair - 737-800s - 1 aircraft. BA - A318/A319/A320/A321, a variety of 737 models, 767s, 757s, 777s and 747s - At least 6 different fleets all require seperate maintenance facilities, spares and training.

Yep, BA's obsession with Heathrow and Gatwick is puzzling. Why they don't have any medium or long haul schedule from places like Manchester, Brum, Liverpool, Bristol, East Mids etc. I don't know. Not sure you're point about the 777/A380 is entierly valid. If they can't fill the planes, bigger ones aren't going to help. It's a bit like Pompey's new 50,000 seater stadium. American Airlines is one of the biggest and oldest in the world and hasn't opperated anything bigger than a 777 for decades. United has a reasonable fleet of old 747s but can't fill them. Continental has a handful of 777s, Delta inherited a few 74s from Northwest. No North American airlines have ordered any A380s because they couldn't fill them.

Do you have any live plants in the tank? They help keep the balance with phosphates, nitrates etc. Another thing could be cleaning the filter. When you do it's best to use water from the tank, not tap water, as tap water will kill a lot of the bacteria in the sponges. Also make sure you're not over feeding them.

The difference being this time it would be a surprise if we lost, so probably worse.

I got the annie from a guy in Havant too. He mentioned Midge and some of the incredible stuff he breeds, including some massive royals.

E.stwoo is a very ofensive swear word in Estonia. Sorry about that. I'm off that day so will be in, unless I get sent somewhere at the last minute.

Just got a message from someone who works at St Mary's. Apparently he overheard Cortese saying it will be Brentford away.

Incidentally, I'd say snakes were generally easier to care for. I haven't owned any lizards but they eat live crickets and meal worms, at least every other day. They also need to be kept alive and fed, I'm sure Ponty will tell you more. A snake on the other hand will take a relatively sized mouse or rat every week or two.

The yellow anaconda was £80. The cheapest you can probably get is a corn snake for £40-50. I'd budget for about £200 for a small snake, including the full set up. Vivarium, thermostat, heat source (there are several options here), decorations, water bowl and substrate. I had the mum problem too. Wouldn't let me have any, now I have three. Her fears were somewhat justified when I brought them home for a week last year and one escaped. The itinery for this one was something like: Anaconda - £80 Vivarium - £150 (but you could get away with something half that size for a small corn or king snake) thermostat - £25 2x light fixture - £20 UV light bulb - £15 Light bulb - £2.50 (bog standard 9W low energy bulb from B&Q is fine, although some lizards need a full spectrum ligh bulb) Decorations - £50 Coarse bark - £20 (Massive bag, could cover the viv 5 times) Cage lock - £7 (one of the more important investments, trust me ) Water Bowl - £10

By an odd coincidence, I bought this little fellar this afternoon: The reptile experts amongst you may have noticed that this is not infact a lizard. It is infact a three foot male anaconda.

I agree with Bungle, I hope they keep up the strike. As long as all this is going on, Ryanair's stock is going through the roof.

Just been looking through the pics myself. Shame there are none of the Israel match, that was hilarious. I wanted a picture of that balding gimp appealing for handball as the ball ricocheted off Scott's shin. -

Or Green Shorts Man as he was perhaps better known. -

I was amazed to find out Deppo was infact a real person. Up until now I'd always thought he was a virus on my hard drive which McAfee couldn't get rid of. -

Well we enjoyed it and raised money for charity, so all's well in the end. In the Group stages; Chilie didn't turn up, so that was a nice easy 3 points to get us started. The first game was indoors against the Argies. That game was abandoned due to a frozen pitch. The second game was outdoors against the Dutch. We found our selves 3-0 fairly rapidly but looked the better team in a goalless second half. The third game was against Israel. They were dirty b**tards and seemed to shout "handball" every time we took a touch. 1-0 down at half time, myself and Spades then set each other up to give us a 2-1 win. Fourth game was against England indoors. Israel had already played their games and only got 1 point, sending them and Chilie out and rendering this game pretty much irrelevant. A good job too. The9 gave us a 1-0 lead but we ended up losing 4-1. Into the knockouts, we were up against Group A winners Italy. We took a shock 1-0 lead through Robsk and celebrated fairly vocally, much to the amusement of the watching Spain team. Second half we slipped to 2-1 down before goals from MINIBARCELONA SAINT and someone else gave us a 3-2 win. Semi final we went 1-0 down to the Dutch first half and ended up losing 4-0. We then told the England team where to shove their third place playoff and went home. If anyone cares... -
I don't think footballers are quite THAT simple.

Yesterday I heard someone pronounce Bordeaux, "Bor-dee-orks". Don't know why but that had me s******ing to myself for ages.

I would use Dickson as a substitute LM if anything.
-
I only hope Pardew is planning to play him at LM. We don't need 3 LBs and neither Harding nor Dickinson is going to be satisfied with playing in the reserves all season. IF this is true of course.

I take it we still have to be there at 1030? -
Just been watching that on the news. Doesn't appear to be any pattern or motive, just a complete whack job. Hope they catch him soon.

Anyone remember Jason St Juste? I'm convinced that was another Ali Dia waiting to happen.
