Liverpool have spend probably a couple of hundred million under Benitez and they're sh*t. Man City have spent more, Villa have spent a reasonable amount. Spuds were also within striking distance of Arsenal going into the last game. I do think Hodgson is better, but when it comes to the Prem 'Arry was 4th and Woy was 12th, even taking money into account I'd say Spurs have had the better season in the Prem.

I was shot down by most on here as being ridiculous as we only needed 4 or 5 more players to have a really good squad. 10 months later and we've found Lambert, Barnard, Connolly, Hammond, Waigo, Antonio, Fonte, Martin, Seaborne, Puncheon and Otsemobor (we'd already signed Harding and Murty). Apparently we still need a CM, RB, CB and ST.

The problem with speculation is it can be made up by anyone and believed by anyone too. Let's take Pardew's possition for instance.
