Looked like a fish up a tree in the few games I saw him play last season. Even compared to the likes of James, Wotton, Gillett, Euell and BWP he looked poor. Certainly wouldn't get in ahead of Barnard, Connolly or Waigo unless he has improved massively.

You can sh*g them for all I care. I just wish we'd stop feckin' singing about them, constantly every match.

Pretty good variety today I thought. Pahars, Le Tiss, Lambert, Lallana, Fonte, Kelvin, Barnard, Connolly, Antonio and Pardew all got a sing song. Waigo would have got one too if he'd managed to get himself offside at some point.

I actually creased up laughing at the "you f**king look like a bird's nest" chant. The "what the f**k is on your head" and "you're just as sh*t as your hair cut" chants were pretty effin' funny too. Eventually we just ended up booing him. Agree that their support was pretty decent considering. Plymouth away for them next year. On a Tuesday night in January no doubt.

It was a big deal because a) our squad was crying out for experience last season and we spent our last pennies on a French teenager. b) even £500k would have easily covered Pearson's wages which we supposedly couldn't afford. c) we went into admin supposedly over a matter of tens of thousands, not millions. If we hadn't found Markus, that could have been the deal which liquidated SFC. Neither are Morgan's fault, but that was my beef with this particular deal.

It seems we have four onboard for this trip. Still room for one more if anyone's interested. Tickets - €150 Chalet - €350 between all of us. €70 each if we get 5 people. Ferry - £30 each.

I have two snakes, one of which is currently loose in my living room. They're pretty good mousers, although if your wife is afraid of mice, I doubt she would approve.

Am I the only one surprised at the number of mentions Davis gets. He has been decent when called upon, but I'd say he has been a spectator in a lot of matches. Charlton was the only match I can think of with him saving our arses recently.

Over the course of the season, you couldn't really ask for any more from RL, DH or AL. Practically a dead heat between the first two IMO as they have bith been fantastically consistent. Harding just edges it for me. He looked average against Oldham and that was easily the worst I've seen him play. We'll have a proper poll after the Saaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaafend game.

I live a 5 minute walk from the art gallery. I normally run right past it every day, but today the bridge was blocked off by Police and there were TV crew everywhere. I might head back later and chuck a bag of flour at David Cameron. I've got nothing against the guy, but perhaps he could make a decent quiche.

I would love to sign a RB, box to box CM, brick sh*t house CB and James Beattie. Beyond that there's probably 15 players we can release and have a pretty healthy squad. Good to hear about Lambert though.
