Had a weird dream last night. Saints had modfied the stadium in preparation for the new season and the fans were invited to an open day to look around. You had to get into the ground using ladders up the side of the stadium and the pitch had been replaces by a massive swimming pool. We were all complaining because the water was too cold, the water slides blocked our view of the pitch/pool. The beer was still crap and Mike found an anaconda in the shallow end. We all went outside and started singing "Cortese out" Not sure if any of this will come true...

Good News: Wycombe have been relegated, so no trip to that f**king sand pit in an industrial estate next season.

Probably been mentioned already, but if we'd won today (and we probably would have done with a full strength team), we'd be second without the points deduction. Ferkin' good season IMO.

I think we should keep Semi. I wasn't at the game today, but his pace is invaluable IMO. When it comes to defending against a counter attack, I've yet to see any opposing player get the legs on him.

He may soon end up in the other tank with two lobsters and some cichlids. I know they don't generally get on with lobsters, but they were in the same tank before I moved house.

I'd have thought most that come here want to play at a higher level, possibly even the Premier League in 3 or 4 years time. I can't think of anyone except Fonte who signed from a higher league and he knew Palace were in the sh*tter back then. Can't think of too many other CCC clubs who could have afforded his transfer fee, hence he came here. I'm sure wages were part of the reason, but not the sole reason. If Mullins came here, where's the motivation. He has already been to the Prem and done it all before. He wont be at that level when he's 34 or 35, so there is no exciting future for him here. He is too good for League 1, the question is would he play as well if he were in League 1 with no real prospects of Prem football. It could be like Hasselbaink and Fowler at Cardiff all over again. I have never seen two players look so disinterested in a game of football as they did at SMS a few years ago. It was almost comical.

Sadly I think the £35k Pompey owe us would probably cover Mullins' wages for about a week, hence I wouldn't bother, even if we could get him for less than half a million. Would be a good player at this level, but if he came it would only be for the money.

Personally I'd take having my bag x-rayed and a 10 second pat down from a security guard if it means people can't just walk on with anything. I am sure it is possible to get a weapon on board an aircraft, with the right knowledge, determination, financial backing, equipment, training etc. But do you really want to get on a plane knowing any idiot can just walk onto a flight carring 6 gallons of petrol and do whatever he wants?

Nah, I'd rather have Palace down. For a start it's a much nearer away game. Secondly I think they will be in even more of a mess with regards to money and having to sell players.

Frisk retired after getting death threats from Chelsea fans after a Champs League game against Barca. He was also injured in a game between Roma and Dynamo Kiev. Roma were 1-0 down and Frisk sent off one of their players, Mexes I think, just before half time. As he was walking off, a fan hit him in the head with a coin. The game was abandoned, Kiev were later given a 3-0 win and Roma had to play their remaining games behind closed doors.
