To insinuate that this is a "black thing" is pretty ridiculous tbh. Yes, a large proportion of the people rioting are black youths, but that may have something to do with them being amongst the most deprived of the minorities in this country and therefore pretty p!ssed off with everything. Obviously few of them are going at it from a nihilistic, anarchistic viewpoint, but some of them have just had enough with no jobs, no money, no opportunities and no future. A lot of them are just out on the nick - but who would blame them if there are no immediate repurcussions? I'm not defending the rioters when they're wrecking people's homes and livelihoods, but there is definitely a series of underlying social problems which poured the proverbial petrol on the bonfire.

He's partially right, although it's more to do with the fact that these guys think it's just a laugh to go and do that without getting smashed up by a copper. Plus they can make some cash off their looted goods.

Problem with cities like London is there's too much lower-class and too much upper-class about. Lambert's 5 main duties AFAIC are: - Winning the ball in the air from goal-kicks/deep free-kicks - Drawing defenders into him to create space for his quicker attacking partner - Killer balls into the area for overlapping players - Penalties/Free-Kicks - Occasionally scoring a screamer from outside the area He's very good with the creative side of things, but also a good target man. You can see that he's naturally more comfortable with the former though, and that's where I prefer him playing. He needs a quick striker playing alongside him, and 2 wingers who can overlap, and that's a recipe for a ferking good Goal Difference at the end of the season!
