He's f*cking quality, end of. He's been doing what he did yesterday for 2/3 seasons now. He is THE key player in our squad. People talk about the Fontes, Lamberts and Chamberlains, but they're all replaceable to an extent. I can't think of anyone we could replace Lallana with were we to lose him for some reason. Nobody that we could afford anyway! This is the year that Lallana cements his place as a Saints legend.

This whole thing is an exercise in futility anyway, the petition has to get 100k signatures and then they add it to the list of things to be debated in the Commons. Very unlikely that anything will change as a result...

Really draws out the nutters this one! Dozens of petitions on there which have obviously been posted from a ward somewhere. Anyone signed any petitions on the site? I signed one for the Legalisation of Euthanasia and also the Legalisation of Cannabis.

He's a stroppy c*nt. Moans about the refereeing decisions and cheating, but his players go down more often than a slapper in Southsea. He'll inevitably f*ck off to some lower-Prem side like Wigan when their manager gets sacked.

This. There were a fair few anti-Skate songs flying about today, but if you want to stand up and contribute something better then be my guest....

Saints 3 - 1 Leeds, Post Match Celebration
SuperMikey replied to Cascadia Saint's topic in The Saints
Great win, although Leeds were shocking. Their defence was all over the place, their tackling was a horrorshow, and they just lumped it up the pitch instead of using the 2 very good wingers that they had on! Very happy with the result though, and it shows good promise. I thought Martin was very good, although I think he needs to play at RCB rather than LCB, he didn't look comfortable having to use his left foot. My MOTM - Frazer Richardson. He put in some thumping tackles and kept Gradel quiet for long periods. His best game in a Saints shirt by far, even if nobody realises it! -
£4m swoop for Burnley duo Rodriguez and Fox?
SuperMikey replied to modern matron's topic in The Saints
I think if we signed Fox, Dickson would either play higher up in midfield or go out on loan for the season to a L1 club. He's got potential, but not good enough atm. -
£4m swoop for Burnley duo Rodriguez and Fox?
SuperMikey replied to modern matron's topic in The Saints
Eagles and Mears are worth at least £3m each, it just goes to show that Burnley are up sh!t creek atm. If that means that we can nip in and get a future England striker (Rodriguez) and a solid Prem/Champ level LB (Fox), then so be it. -
The words 'publicity stunt' come to mind. See it's broken down a few paranoid people's walls!

Putin says U.S. is a "parasite" on global economy
SuperMikey replied to Saint in Paradise's topic in The Lounge
It's called an opinion Duney boy. With the situation changing as often as it is as the moment with the US economy, IMF predictions shouldn't be relied on. This debt ceiling deal could change everything with regards to the US. -
QPR make Saints an offer for Puncheon (Player Exchange)

Gorkss would be an absolutely sublime signing. Seen him play for QPR and Blackpool and he's impressed me every time. Very good captain material as well. -
Putin says U.S. is a "parasite" on global economy
SuperMikey replied to Saint in Paradise's topic in The Lounge
There was no inaction in the US, they chose instead to grow their economy to a good level before cutting their debt. Their economy grew greatly last year, it is only now that that growth is slowing as their debt cripples them. You can see the change in growth from the days of Bush to the days of Obama. 2010 saw the US grow their economy back to a good state, unlike ours which is being kicked while it's down. You CAN cut, you just need to make sure that your economy can handle it. That's what the US government is doing - although it may now be a case of too little, too late. If the Iraq and Afghanistan military deployments hadn't happened, i'm sure the world economy would be in a much better state than it is now. The US will go through a rough patch, but they will bounce back a lot quicker than we will. Their economy will grow in leaps of 2, 3, 4% whereas ours will remain in the decimals for the forseeabe future unless the UK government shows a bit of faith and spends some money to increase economic growth. -
No, we only had jelly and ice-cream, no buffet.

I did a very similar thing last year, exclaiming HAPPY 18TH! as one of my friends walked in the door of our local. We'd been drinking there for 2 years before that. Luckily though, they didn't seem to give a f*ck!

Vodka isn't a great friend of mine anyway. We've had a few disagreements in the past...

Just goes to show that maybe we're not as f*cked in the UK as all the hysterical right-wingers thought we were... -
If you're up near Basingstoke, my mate does a cracking valet. The car comes back from him looking like it's just been driven out of the showroom - no joking. He gets all the muck from under the wheel arches, all the door trim is cleaned... it's well worth it tbh! If anyone's interested, PM me and i'll send you his contact details.
-
Maybe he's signing for Basingstoke?

I would go but I have to work on Saturdays, and taking Monday-Wednesday off this week so no chance of getting Saturday off as well! I'm sure we'll get at least 22-25k. Lots of people are on holiday/working overtime/skint at the moment.

That is just ferking hilarious! Reckon we'll get one of those, but with somebody pinching half a Toblerone off Jaidi in the changing room? ........there's definitely a joke in that somewhere.
