So, now we're into December it's about time we started talking about the big films that are due to come out next year. I think the ones i'm most excited about are: World Invasion: Battle LA A full-scale alien invasion threatens the world, and a platoon of marines fight against the alien invaders in Los Angeles. Cowboys and Aliens As a comment on the YouTube video for this trailer sums it up, "Red Dead Space Redemption: Quantum of Solace". Harrison Ford and Daniel Craig fight aliens in the wild west. The Green Hornet Seth Rogen's take on the comic book series. The news that SR was taking the reins on this upset quite a few fanboys, but the trailer looks pretty promising. [video=youtube;PMA-taGtfXs] Paul Pegg & Frost team up with a host of US comedy stars including Jason Bateman, Kristen Wiig and Seth Rogen (in the aforementioned role of Paul) in a comedy that's sure to be a huge hit, although I wonder if Pegg and Frost will lose some of the 'Britishness' which makes their work so hilarious. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O_CTwUevFPY&feature=related Priest Been following this project for a while now after reading one of the graphic novels (very good), hopefully it won't disappoint. Gerard Butler was originally slated to play the role of Priest, but he pulled out so Paul Bettany was brought in. People will say "ugh, another vampire film", but this has the potential to be excellent. Thinking of treating myself to a pair of proper headphones, anyone got any suggestions? Don't really want to spend much more than £30, although after looking at some reviews it seems that you don't really need to spend any more than that. Was looking at the Sennheiser HD205 IIs, they're £25 down from £45 on Amazon.co.uk, and good reviews wherever i've looked. Anyone got any good suggestions for some other ones I could look at?

Put me down for one Steve please.
-
I am glad. Just pointing it out.

It's also World AIDs Day and the first day of Hannukkah.
-
Oi, it's my birthday today, you have to be nice to me. How old are you if you don't mind me asking? My guess is 37.

Pad Thai is probably my favourite meal. Delicious.
-
No I didn't.

It's pretty pathetic that anyone on this board would 'hate' somebody else on here. S_S and Hypo, have you ever met each other? Go for a pint ffs, you might have something in common.

I really admire what JA is doing, it's a very selfless act on his part to expose the seedy underbelly of world politics and economics. I think he knows he's going to be targeted very soon, hence the sudden splurging of information on WikiLeaks. I'd only heard of WikiLeaks in passing, but I was sent a link to the Apache helicopter video (awful, awful video) and after seeing that i'm fully behind him.

The first one I got was Nigel Quashie vs Stuart Ripley....

Not Southampton, but i'm off to see Arcade Fire/Darwin Deez tonight at the O2, anyone else going? Ought to be a cracking gig, been looking forward to it for ages!

Love you babe xxx

Maybe 'me time' was the wrong phrase to use... Watching a game of footy at SMS for me is like the equivalent of going for a pint in the pub, just a bit of time away from other stuff. Now, if you'll excuse me, my Sex and the City DVD boxset is being delivered in a minute.

Not sure if this has been posted already, and I cba to read back through the thread to check, but in his ITV post-match interview after the Cheltenham game, NA said that RL was taken off with a hip injury. I'd not heard that it was a hip injury before, so that was interesting to see. Any more news on this?

Slightly unrelated but still on the topic of the EDL, I saw an article in the paper the other day that they're going to start encouraging gays, jews, sikhs and hindus to join the EDL in their fight against the muslims. Wonder how that will go down with the average member?

Same for me please, IraqGoals is going mental. Oh, 1-0 to Barca! Xavi

But i'm sure all of the people on your shortlist would be nominated by others anyway, we'd end up with a huge poll if everyone could nominate 4.
-
Everyone can nominate 1 poster to go on the poll, a bit like the Saints XI threads

Ronaldo's quicker and has an element of physical strength about him though, Messi would never emulate the success that Ronaldo had if he played in the Premier League, because he's physically not strong enough. He's more technically gifted than Ronaldo, but Ronaldo's pace and strength get him into positions that Messi might not be able to.
-
I would probably agree with Ronaldo, although any team with any of those two in the squad would be quality. I think if Droylesden signed Ronaldo in January, they'd be in the Champions League in no time!
-
Maybe we could have a poll? Shortlists people?
-
Slightly concerned by the tongue smiley...what did you have planned!?
-
That would explain a lot.

Actually, they do... I read them because the quality of the journalism is much better than in other rags, and it tends to steer away from the overt sensationalism that other newspapers tend to enjoy. This Express campaign is just a sensationalist reaction to the situation in Europe.
