Thats what I'm saying,. the dancing bit should be a lot lower, so in effect each discipline would account for about a third of the 'penalty points' the best horse at dancing will have a massive advantage.

Why is the 3 day eventing scored so heavily in favour of the prancing about bit? That seems to account for about 75% of the marks, when the cross country and the show jumping is low scoring. Surely that's arse about face, the jumping over things should be what is all about, not skipping.
