  1. Shocking behaviour IMHO. Recommend you arrange for the echo to take a photo of you looking moody, holding aforementioned ticket ASAP. Or even better, tell your story at the fan's forum on Monday, in a half hour epic that not only rises and falls, it meanders. Finish by saying that you thought FC stood for fatally corporate, but now you realise it stands for fakers and cheats. Wait 20 seconds for a trickle of slow applause to become a torrent, until the whole room is giving you a standing ovation, and Koeman resigns on the spot, declaring "I don't work for bad guys"
  2. Desperation tactics from Tottenham, part 2. Murdoch won't mind carrying the story though, as it should be worth a few thousand for the coffers over at Sky Bet come New years...
  3. I think i could come up with a few that are better, yes. As mentioned elsewhere, Ticket Pricing. First of all, praise the club for their sensible cup ticket policy. You're about to ask someone to change something for your benefit, so the least you can do is praise them when they have taken positive steps. Have information about ticket pricing campaigns to hand, and ask how the club could integrate with them. You could also weave egress from the stadium and surrounding areas into this point. The second would be coverage for fans who cannot necessarily get to matches. I happen to know that the club are especially proud of their increasingly prominent social media profile and youtube content, so using the 'flashback' content as a basis, enquire into the content right issues surrounding saintsplayer and premier league content. Ask if there is a possibility of an à la carte selection of paid highlights via youtube , similar to episodal content from television networks. Then go to club history. Many believe our current badge to be rather, well, Kinder Egg, some of those are within the club! Suggest a future or off season kit that would include the older badge, perhaps with the saints foundation logo included somewhere alongside. If this cannot be managed with sponsors, propose saints leisurewear to trial it. if lack of popular support is mentioned, ask the room for a show of hands for trialling the original crest. And finally, Satellite Facilties. Ask about the challenges facing saints RE: Bristol city, and London satellite Academies. Ask if any plans are in the works for new off site facilities to enable saints to help develop the best young players and provide a path to the first team, and possibly national team. But I mean, that's just off the top of my head. Feel free to ask for bigger Mars bars, or Enquire into stadium redevelopment and Train stations, news that the Hierarchy at the club would definitely sit on, unless a member of the public asked them on a whim.
  4. Let's have an early guess at what will be discussed at too much length: Stadium redevelopment, PA system, Safe standing (always a favourite, as if the club can influence the rest of football overnight, but hold off to annoy certain fans), stewards with double standards, munchers who can't go 90 minutes without stuffing a hole moaning about lack of lard delivery system, fan on the board, train to St Marys.
  5. 2-3 Too little, too late. Should have been more positive, needed to concentrate on the right with Cedric, seeing as Targett is not as solid as Bertrand. Even a draw won't mask the fact this game was lost before it started, against an unusually vulnerable united.
  6. Back defence with Martina, Caulker, Targett starting. JWP and Davis as CM's. If they can't beat that team, ship out and replace in Jan.
  7. [h=1]PRESS CONFERENCE: Koeman previews Man United clash[/h]
  8. I've been given the names of 4 mids, one of whom was the LCM we tried to sign around two weeks ago. But as of 23.41 last night, only VVD was anyway near 'Over the line'. 3/3 and out.
  9. Thank you very much. For the question of double deals.... No-one likes being announced as part of a package. If Saints do announce a second signing, I can't believe they will do it in a way which makes a player feel overshadowed on day one. But I've not heard that, that's personal feeling. By the way, I can confirm KBSS has been promoted to Hyper ITK level access. Congrats KBSS! (not a joke).
  10. No-one wants to get mentioned as the seventh news item behind the De Gea blunder. The Saints media team know what they are up to...
  11. I guess the reception will be depend heavily on whether or not a new player is brought out before the match.
  12. I'm going 0-2 to Saints.
  13. He has trained in that position with Saints before his injury. FACT I'm 99.9 certain we will get him. A last minute hijack, voodoo curse or dislike of Martin O'Neil's rented Winchester property are always possibilities though. : ) As for Big Fat Sam, he's done well to be treated as some sort of sage by a certain few on here. He's currently the lagered tramp standing outside pizza express, listening to the staff collecting orders and then shouting those orders to everyone and no-one. A week after Les Reed and Koeman confirm the club is in full agreement over there being no more sales, BFS comes out with a list of 'demands' that our manager should make, even though he doesn't have to, as the transfer committee has already agreed on the issue, and BFS's wishes actually mean **** all, as he is not our manager (or anybody's manager for that matter). Still, Sam rants, and the depressives on here treat his dribbling like scripture: "Big Sam says Koeman should demand no more sales", "Big Sam says we should demand answers from Kat", "Big Sam says that table 4 are waiting on Margherita and Garlic bread".
  14. Spot on. Obviously 3 points are always welcome. But the important thing was the first clean sheet in 9 games. If we had to go to Denmark on the back of a loss of a promoted side, and failed to win there, the bad feeling would have poisoned the Norwich match. The reality of the situation is that by the WBA match, we can field a side that looks something like - Stek Cedric - Fonte -Van Djik - Bertrand Vic Romeu Clasie Mane J-rod Pelle Until then, we have to keep on trying to win games with the players at hand. So looking forward as a foundation to build on, today was a nil - nil desperandum.
  15. And it would indicate that we consider Tottenham and its associates something to be frightened of, even dangerous. Place them near any vocal(ish) home supporters that are near the corporate areas instead : )
  16. If we don't get 3 points tomorrow, then this board will be nothing but **** and vinegar. I think I might shout "Come on Saints" at the radio/stream, in front of other people, like a mentalist. Otherwise, it's going to be on par with Swing Lowe again. FWIW, I think we will beat Watford, FCM and Norwich. Even if Vic wants to go, I have a feeling he will be told to wait until we can buy and integrate a similar player (no jests about passing please). Ultimately, a lot is riding on the next 8 days. If we end next Sunday as part of a nascent top 6, having qualified on Thursday for the Europa look group stages, and A new CB in the bag, then all good. Or, we could have 1 or 2 points, an exit from Europe and "Saints need a miracle - want-away stars in quit threat to crisis club" from nationals in need of deadline day drama.
  17. Run past the CM's, Panicked interceptions from the defence (when they managed to catch the opposition), back to Everton to run again. Was pretty poor and repetitive fare for the first 45. Slightly improved after the break. Must do better.
  18. Seeing that the Everton game was stone cold garbage, I'm hoping for a good recation performance in this one... Alpine Saint prediction Saints to win 2-0 against FC Mintyland of thursday, with Reed and Romeo playing a half each to gain fitness. Followed by a Lazy Sunday win against Watford.
  19. She managed to get closer to him than most of our players for the first 45...
  20. Yes. As I said on Monday, the club are trying to keep the signings under wraps until at least the medical. Such as was the case today. So far, i haven't seen the Loan target mentioned on here or elsewhere on the net (but i haven't trawled the HCDAJFU thread). But if the signing is close, i'll give a small update as i did on Monday : ) --------------------------- 3rd post.

  22. More attacking than defensive. A Steven Davis type, if you will, but with a more physical presence.
  23. 1 of 2. I can also confirm that we have enquired about a LCM (3rd player)on loan, but our initial offer was turned down. Whether we'll go back in for the same player, or move on, I have have no news just yet.
