Oh, certainly. No doubt he'd form a big cheese committee with the Les Reed (mouse form) at its head. And bring in speedy Gonzalez as head coach.

The kid on the right looks like a young version of 'Badger' from breaking bad.

The treatment of NA has been shabby to say the least. The confiscation of banners and making people talk to the media outside the stadium instead of inside even more so. But the same as North Korea? Please. Over there, such actions are met by people being beaten and seized, then disappeared. The same still goes on in the more 'liberal' China. So please do not compare the treatment handed out in these situations. Call it what it is, heavy handed, badly thought out, overreaction. No need to ride the dram llama home though. Btw, the original meaning of Dictator did not carry a negative connotation, and referred simply to an elected individual who was given sole power and responsibility to deal with a crisis by any means he saw fit. So I guess no matter which side of the debate you stand, that is accurate!

Is the game definitely on? IIRC, last time the pitch was fine, but the roads/pathways around the stadium were considered too treacherous.

I too, was angry that Adkins was sacked, and have yet to see (like the rest of the fans) if this new guy can not only win games, but patch up the fallout. However, Lawrie and Le Tiss are starting to overreach severely when it comes to their criticism of Southampton Football Club, and are using this fiasco to grind their axes to a dull, repetitive point. What LM should have said was... Players Play Managers Manage Supporters Support, I take ****loads for shares (LM) then criticise others for doing the same. I make bets on games i play in, (MLT) or lie about it in a book to sell more copies, depending on who you ask. Then, as the money runs out: I will set up my agent son with Redknapp to make dodgy deals which will be referred to the Premier League bungs commission (LM) I will back a penniless weirdo who lives with his mum over a Swiss billionaire. (MLT) I will bemoan the loss of my personal cash cow, where i just talked with my old pals and a few corporates for a (relatively) huge wedge (LM). Which leads to personal attacks, rather than considered criticism, such as: “"I don't know if Nigel was becoming too popular and the chairman didn't like it," Le Tiss tells BBC Radio 5 live's Sportsweek programme. "He does appear to have a bit of an ego problem”. I wonder if they will ever mention these during interviews.

PICTURE: Nigel Adkins' leaving message to Saints squad
Guan 2.0 replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Solent have a special phone in today. If enough people ask they will have to give a reason why. It would more productive than trying to say 'bababooy bababooy, penis penis penis' before being cut off anyway. Not saying you can't do both! -
Whatever the case may be - some team will now get themselves a damn good manager. Always thought NA would be here for at least 5 years. Good luck Nigel, I know all Saints fans will never fail to realise what you achieved for the club
-
Last night source tells me about Forren signing, so chuffed before nights sleep. Today check in to find Nigel has been sacked. Complete emotional 180. All hypothetical now, but if we go down, many will point to this as the cause.

Your most unexpected event of this season, so far?
Guan 2.0 replied to Halo Stickman's topic in The Saints
I was surprised how many qualified out of work managers work for/text in to Radio Solent. I always thought that Adkins was a talented manager with a huge cache of coaching and psychological knowledge garnered not only from his playing career, but also from his years of academic study and working his way through non-league , up to promotion on a shoe string with S****horpe, and finally, back to back promotions with our good selves. Now, thanks to ‘bazza’ in Sholing and Dave Merrington, I realise that instead Adkins is a clueless and cowardly chump who is a numpty when it comes to transfers or tactics, and we would win every single game if we played a rigid 4-4-2 and Lambert played every minute of every match. Also, he only withholds transfer or team news to hurt the feelings of the listeners, or because he doesn’t pick the team. Whichever feels more appropriate that week. -
Exactly. You can imagine "Nigel Adkins has moved quickly to strengthen his defense following the narrow defeat to chelsea last night..... experienced international.... hard work behind the scenes.... move up the league... yadda yadda yadda".

Saints vs Chelsea Match & Reactions Thread
Guan 2.0 replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
No: Clyne Lallana Lambert Ramirez Cork out of position Midfield and fowards in different shape. Do you consider that our 'full strength side? Just waiting for the numptys to text solent saying how badly this will affect our goal difference. -
Don't know if anyone can help me with this, but I'm looking for digital recordings of Sharpe, read by Sean Bean and Paul McGann. If anybody has any useful links, and can confirm whether or not they are unabridged or otherwise, I would be grateful.

Can someone buy this as an early new years pressie for the forum? Ta.

In the cup? Careface Let's be realistic here: the newcastle and sunderland results are far more important to us. Neither are 'too big to go down' and we're now in a postion to climb up the table by dragging other teams below us. I doubt our coaching sessions consist of wetting our knickers over the results over a freak result for the bottom team.

With the amount of mutual back slapping between the two, it's no surprise! http://www.sabotagetimes.com/football/football-sport/harry-redknapp-my-best-signing-was-arsenal-legend-nightmare-paul-merson/ or: How i signed a drug addict who lied to me.

When you go to bed, who wears the Lambert mask, you or your missus?

Moreover, they are not even run by the so called 'community' thus far. They are in admin, and even the ground ownership is up in the air. So who will take on these burning issues? Why, Neil Allen of course, that bastion of investigative journalism with a tenacious hunger for the truth! When he smells a dirty rat at Fratton Park (and not the ones that are the true cause of the blocked pipes), he is sure to leap into action with his trademark catchphrases of "Sad saints fans obviously have nothing better to do than stir", "I'm not going to investigate things just because other teams fans' ask me to" and "bored now, blocking you on twitter", and his favourite "One article - 240 paragraphs. I'm a genius" Just remember Neil, don't comprimise your Journalistic integrity by getting too close to, or becoming the story - by such methods as purchasing shares and encouraging your readers to take out loans to do the same! Looking forward to the usual monday spin of Yeovil Tactics being booed at half time by the passionate home crowd, downpour forming a river of hope, and the New Year bringing New Cheer for the worlds biggest community owned club.

IMHO, Reading made the mistake of signing players to win the championship last season, with no great thought for the future. With what limited budget they had, they frittered it away on the likes of Roberts, who was no longer good enough for the Premier League, and had no resale value at 34. Some may argue we did the same with Billy Sharp, but we immediately loaned him out at the start of the season, and he is younger to boot. Same goes for Hammond, who struggled in the Championship, and both were replaced by better players. Reading have the same squad plus a few cast off and one tetchy mercenary

I thought this was just a rubber-stamping exercise? #confused

Another thrilling Web special from The Snooze. No wonder we're all so jealous of good ol' pompey!
