I dont mind Pompey supporters on a saints forum, more fool you I guess, however find it slightly annoying when you create match day threads. A bit of banter between the clubs is not a bad thing, but if I wanted to follow a match day thread for pompey (not that I ever would) I would just join their online website. I find it quite sad you paid a fiver to join your 'closest rivals' fan site in the first place, so unless you're trying to get a rise by starting the thread in which case thats even sadder, I fail to see why you are doing it? From the rest of your contributions (non football ones) to this thread you seem like a sane normal person so why start Skate matchday threads? Just do it on the Pompey forum where you can chat to other skates for the 90 minutes.

Barcelona so desperatley wanted Man City to sign him as they were allegedly offerering nearly double the fee for him, yet he didnt want to go to Man City meaning the only viable option for Barcelona to get rid of him was to cut their price and sell to a club he would agree to go to. I feel the Berbatov situation will be very similar. All it takes is for him to dig his heels in and say 'No, im not signing for city' and Spurs will be left with 2 options. Cash in now for £20m or so, rather than being stubborn, or in a year or two's time when he hasnt been playing and has been left to rot in the reserves lose him for nothing! Ideally yes, he is worth what they are asking for him (Especially when you compare that to how much they paid for Bent!), but if he wants to leave, you dont have a choice but accept what someone is willing to pay, or lose him for a lot less in the future. Spurs would be a lot better off without him now and £20m in the bank than the thought of a £30m player sat in the resi's doing jeff all!

Im sure in the future of SFC somewhere along the line we will be takenover in one form or another. These people have been saying it for over a year now and nothing has happened. Man City are close to their second takeover in this time. At what point does a line have to be drawn under it? Otherwise in 17 years time when Saints may or may not be taken over, there will be these guys saying 'I was first to tell you about this'! Problem with Saints is that everyone knows we have no money and as such, anyone we attract will not be of much excitement to other fans so wont make the BBC rumour mill thingy. What about fake skate ones? Making stuff up about pompey to get their hopes up? Pompey to sign Rosicky from Arsenal? Viera as a replacment for Muntari?

To be fair they are essentially the same thing. If your trading in a car, to buy a new one for £10k, your car may only be worth £4.5k but they will trade it in for £5k. You think you getting a good deal, however, if they only gave you £4k for it but knocked £0.5k off the asking price of the new car, you're getting the same deal but made up slightly different. The price they gave me was a cash price, however if I were to find a new car from their forecourt, they would be less likely to reduce their price if I asked for the same amount as a trade in. As an update, they have now told me £5750 would be the price I would get for my car. Apparently (and I still think this is car salesman talk) my car is depreciating by £350 per month! :shock:

Joe Mattock (WBK) normally a million or two from Leicester Daniel Sturridge (ST) Turns out to be a regular england international, very good Cahais (CB) - Amazing CB, wanted by Barcelona, Real, Man U, Chelsea, Arsenal etc etc. Maybe a little pricy but well worth it. If you're short of funds, try offloading loads of players. When I start the game I always sell most of the team, Rasiak, Saga, John, Viafara, Wright, Davis, Euell, Makin, BWP, Dyer, Skacel, Idiakez, Ostlund... This should generate atleast £4m and free's up wages too
