  1. I would not trust Koeman with any more money this season to buy Dutch players who are no better than what we already have at the club. He should look at his coaching......unfortunately MoPo was by far a better coach than Koeman and had no hesitation in playing younger players. Koemans brand of football is boring, negative and taking us backwards
  2. Verbal - my concern is that Koeman is having too much say in who we buy. Right now I would not trust him with any money: his tactics are awful, he never changes things up in time and is adverse to giving the young (JWP aside) players a chance to shine. For me Reed did more in his time on the pitch yesterday than Wanyama has done all season (Arsenal game aside). Unless he gives the likes of Seager some time on the pitch he'll never know whether he is good enough for the Prem. Its not like we have any clinical finishers on the team right now.....yesterday it opened up nicely for Tadic to have a shot and he bottled it and tried a pass (that failed). Yet Koemans "players" such as Tadic will almost be guaranteed a start.
  3. What on earth is going on with Saints? They look slow, can't finish and too many players will play no matter how bad their form has been (Tadic, Wanyama spring to mind) and none of our hungrier, more dynamic younger players get a look in. Reed showed, in the few minutes he was on, that he will do more for Saints than that c**t Wanyama. Koeman has been shown up this season - he seems clueless and does not change things when the game is crying out for a change. Why persist with Ramirez if he has no future here - and expect him to change things in the 5 minutes he is on? Sleepwalking to a relegation battle - and I think the only thing that will save us is that there are some terrible teams this season - even worse than our team.
  4. Harry Reed has done more in his short time on the pitch than Wanyama has done all season. yet this is the first time he has seen any game time. Obviously not one of Koemans favorites despite his ability
  5. controversial, but I would be happy to see Koeman go. His tactics, team selections and subs have been absolutely awful this season and against WHU and now Norwich it has been plainly obvious the tactics needed changing after the home team starts to take control and he leaves it way too late to make the necessary subs.
  6. sums up saints season. Koeman clueless re. tactics, zero cutting edge and not taking chances and Wanyama who should not be in the side with the way he has played this season. He cant pass the ball, can't tackle and is an utter liability
  7. Wanyama is awful - he lifted his game against Arsenal but other than that he has been very poor this season
  8. Not good......and Koeman's tactics called into question yet again. Failing to respond to West Ham's changes has cost us the game.
  9. awful tactics second half. As per usual, lack of killer instinct in the first half will cost us.
  10. Shane Long......what an absolute joke of a footballer! Sums this team up
  11. Puts to bed the discussion who is the better manager, Koeman or Pochettino. Pochettino hands down.....unfortunately Koeman is clueless when things are not going well.
  12. Well I hope Tadic does not play for us again for some time. Absolute garbage...........but Pelle is playing almost as bad: he looks like a lumbering oaf when he plays like this.
  13. It was Davis you muppets. Unless Clasie is sudenly wearing Number 4 and is an identical twin of Davis
  14. Clasie is the only one in midfield that has not been a disgrace. Pathetic, spineless, and sleepwalking into the relegation battle.
  15. Well, I really hope Koeman is not given an extended contract. he has been bloody awful this season and we have absolutely zero cutting edge. Make no mistake, we are in a relegation battle - no passion, no spirit and creating bloody nothing. Why not give Seager a chance? He couldn't do any bloody worse than Pelle right now......although, aside from the first 10 minutes, the midfield has created the square root of f all.
  16. Game over....what an absolute load of crap. Shocking midfield (Davis, Tadic and Wanyama have been an absolute disgrace) and defenders not much better. Creating absolutely zero and I really fear we will be dragged into a relegation battle. Koeman, as good as he was last season, has been absolutely terrible this season. He persists with out of form players and our younger players don't get a bloody look in.
  17. Why does Koeman persist with bloody Tadic? And how many times a game does Davis give the ball away in a stupid position under no pressure. And will Saints ever have a bloody shot?

    Van Dijk

you prats....that article is 5 years old. VVD is one helluva acquisition and oozes class. Yet another great buy from the club.
  19. you really are deluded crab lungs. Forster is so bad he's England's number 2, was part of the meanest defence in the Premiership last season and kept a ton of clean sheets before his injury. Stick to your Nostradamus predictions of #meltdown. Better keepers in League 1.....wow. What an utterly stupid, moronic statement
  20. I'd love us to sign Mane to an extended contract - he seems like a top guy and well grounded and is so exciting to watch. Shows that pace frightens the hell out of defences.
  21. Stek is and adequate second keeper but no more than that. I have noticed that he does not move his feet much as play is happening - this is critical and why he always looks slow to react. He's having to take an extra step to get positioned.....if his feet were moving more he would not have to take that extra step (e.g. he is always on his heels instead of his toes) and be quicker coming off the line and to the ball and reacting to the ball coming in. Forster is a top class keeper and a major reason the defence was so solid last season. Can't believe some people still think Forster is poor.
  22. that is one nice bike winnersaint!
  23. Sussex 4 down now
  24. It's very disappointing to see our younger players being totally overlooked. At least Pochettino had no fear about blooding young players: Koeman does not seem to rate our younguns. Pathway to the first team looks well and truly blocked right now.
  25. oh yeah, Winnersaint........absolutely loving it and would much rather be out on it than at work for sure! Hoping to do Skyline Drive again in a couple of weeks so will be good to see how the bike performs on that!
