  1. Possibly, but you're entitled to your opinion. HTH!
  2. I'm not sure how to articulate what i want to say without making that vein throb on your forehead. I do think Human life is valuable but not invaluable, if you actually thought this through that would mean you wouldn't allow anybody to drink alcohol, eat sugary or fatty foods because they pose an even greater threat to human wellbeing. I'm aware i'm being facetious.
  3. Still confused, would you like to explain your train of thought?
  4. At no point did i even mention that i would break the law, i would stick to whatever restrictive limit is imposed and as for the so called experts deciding speed limits it's been proven that speed is not the main reason for accidents, by the AA and the RAC so who are these so called experts you're talking about?
  5. I honestly have never thought of putting a value on it, what do you have in mind?
  6. I must have been watching a different player, all the time he was with Saints he gave it 100% even if his talent wasn't quite all there.
  7. Because they tend to be young ad on the verge of making the first team squad at whatever team they're at and it goes to their head, they think they've made it and stop giving 100%, a couple of loans around the league and a bit of maturity kicks in and they start trying again.
  8. So 62 Million people should have stupidly restrictive driving rules imposed on them to save 100? I don't agree, just because we have a difference of opinion does not make me a ****. People driving like idiots should be punished with the full force of the law but driving at reduced speed limits isn't the answer.
  9. Best news this season, thanks Adam!

Who decided that being a good socialist meant living in the city? What about the Tolpuddle Martyrs? Falling short again dune, keep up old chap.
  13. Usual ******** probably but have heard Pimpey are signing Wotton on a free to replace Brown.
  14. If you want to drive then you're going to have to accept that there is potential for someone to be hurt or even killed, wether by accident or speeding. Personally i think that the idea of slowing everything down to crawling pace is ridiculous and that we have to accept a certain number of people will be killed, its not particularly palatable but should every driver suffer to save 100 or so lives a year? What is the acceptable trade off? Does slowing everybody down reduce the perception of risk and actually increase the risk? Should parents take more responsibility for the their children rather than seeking to blame others? Not going to be a popular opinion but it doesn't mean its wrong.

BNP apparently, probably one of Dune's mates.
  16. Scooters are less dangerous than cars, you don't hear of many scooter riders being killed.
  17. Took my Godson to a pre-season friendly at St.Mary's when he was 5, he lasted longer than i did, it was a complete bore-fest! He started taking a real interest after about his 3 game but then he was a in a question-a-minute-mode which didn't bother me but i think his dad was grateful for the tag-team answering. I think the interest is increased when they start school and they get to play every week in PE.
  18. Remember, you need to filter it at least twice and then you can only really use it in summer on its own as it will congeal, i've had some congeal at 7-8 degrees!
  19. Probably not going during the festival this year although i might pop down for the Sunday/Monday night for the closing parties depending on the weather and who's playing Sunday night. I might be able to help but it would be a phonecall with 2-3 hours notice! Which probably isn't any good.
  20. Most people use used oil from chip shops and restaurants so actually the price will come down as these businesses can charge people for their waste rather than having to pay for it to be disposed.
  21. Everybody is allowed a personal allowance of 2500 litres a year without paying any duty. You can use straight veg oil that is either new and clean or old but has been filtered to make it clean, biodiesel is the next step up and involves chemicals and a certain amount of mixing and heating using either home made equipment or specially manufactured equipment. The disadvantage of veg oil is that is congeals when cold (and not even that cold!) and so you need to alter the mixture you're using i.e straight veg oil in the summer but mixed at upto 90% with forecourt diesel during winter; you can install heaters to heat the oil in your fuel tank or add a second tank so you start on regular diesel and then when upto temperature you switch to the veg oil.Biodiesel is better for your car and will require less faffing around with your vehicle. Most German cars will run on Biodiesel without modification although you'll need to change the fuel filter alot more often. Apparently there are a few problems with Peugeot and Citroen cars that use HDi engines and also common rail injection. I run an old Mercedes diesel and it runs fine on any of the above but it's worth researching what route to go down and wether it's even worth it for your current vehicle, try http://www.vegetableoildiesel.co.uk
  22. Cider bus; the cider wasn't as palatable as previous years, still the quickest way to get merry though!
  23. Depends, Does mashed apple taste better in the hospital because you can't eat solid food; the farmer saw you, shot you and then drove forward and backwards over you before phoning for an ambulance?
  24. Anything more than soap and water for washing and brushing your teeth.
  25. You were out of order though.
