  1. Except he doesn't pay for his ticket and gets paid to do it, plus he's taking a ticket away from someone that wouldn't stand there with a camera filming their face and also the people around them that probably don't want filming.
  2. And that's why i've been falling out of love with football more and more every year. I honestly wish the foreign fans of every club would just f*ck off, the TV deals would stop, the money would dry up and the plastics would move onto something else that's trendy in their student union. Sadly i doubt any of that is going to happen, so instead we get the creeping americanisation of the game continuing and the soul being ripped out of once proud clubs that represented their local communities. Happy xmas everyone.
  3. he's not wrong though is he?
  4. Everton is the obvious one, we've got something like 5 wins there in entire our history, haven't checked the stats but Forest has always felt a bit of a bogey team and our record against Spurs is pretty damn bad too.
  5. The words prime and killing it were never things i associated with Jermaine Wright...

I dunno i've fallen over seats more than a few times and it's nothing to do with showing off, especially at an away day, and more to do with the session before the game. To be honest it's one of the main reasons i want safe standing, falling over seats is incredibly easy in a modern ground, the seats are at the perfect height to dislodge you even with a slight movement and all it takes is someone else to nudge you from behind and momentum will take you forward.

I'm not really sure what you can do about this, you're hardly going to stand still when we score and the fact we don't have safe standing and do have seats that encourage people to fall as they're shin height means it's not really their fault. Anyway sometimes there's something f*cking beautiful about an away end with limps everywhere and people ending up rows from where they started, just ask anyone who was at Anfield for the league cup semi final, i doubt any of them would say they weren't enjoying celebrating the goal! I've never understood fans crying at football grounds, but filming yourself fake crying? It's the behaviour of a very strange person who probably needs more in their life, and has almost certainly never got laid. Personally i wish clubs would ban pr*cks like him from the ground, they spend so much time and money banning lads that actually create an atmosphere and trying to get people to sit down, then allow that kind of menace to society in there. Mind you i'm sure soon enough he'll get bored of it and f*ck off, one of the positives of if we ever get relegated is that nonces like him will f*ck off and concentrate on filming themselves playing FIFA instead
  8. If PSG want him then we can slap on another £20m as an "oil fee", not like they can't afford it.
  9. Dunno mate, as much as i'm excited to see what RH can do i'm still f*cking sick of the premier league. The money is obscene, the premier league regularly changes rules to benefit the already rich clubs (see the recent one getting rid of replays in the 5th round of the FA Cup), the atmosphere is generally sh*t, and games are still moved all the time for the overseas tv viewers. Yeah we might be a bit more positive about Saints, but it doesn't fix most of the stuff people on this thread have moaned about.
  10. Ah yes when i was watching our woeful center back's gifting goals to teams, our strikers who's combined total is the same as Dusan Tadic, our midfield who part like the red sea on every attack, and our fullbacks who seem to struggle with defence and attack, i was thinking to myself... What we need is a replacement for our back up keeper.
  11. Even the badly shot videos people do on their phone are better than some weirdo filming his face and pulling moronic expressions for a "vlog", i'm glad he's never anywhere near me when he films them at games as i don't want to be filmed so some little narcissist can get likes on youtube.
  12. this "Vlog" thing is pretty high up on the list of things that i wish didn't exist.
  13. The Magic Rock brewery was f*cking great last time round, though i was pretty half cut before the game and almost missed my train home after as a result of being in there. Trick is to actually check the percentage of what you order

  15. I personally think there's a massive naivety to people that think moving the away fans would create a "kop" at St Mary's. There's not a shred of evidence to suggest that this would happen, in fact i'd hazard a guess that having a Northam end full of Saints would actually make it quieter. Part of the thing that people need to remember is that the Northam didn't happen by accident. People who stood in the Archers moved to the Northam, likewise the Itchen North didn't suddenly pop into existence, they were mainly heads from the old Under the East. The Chapel is (and was designed as) a "kop", the reality of the Chapel is that it was where the people from the Milton went, and the East and West stands went to their respective sides. Saints have never really been a club to have a kop end, the closest we came was the terraced Milton road, but even then you had different pockets of groups round the Dell, and for years the Archers was a split stand. If the club really want to improve the atmosphere (and assuming they can't do safe standing) then the easiest thing to do is to go back to how the Northam was in the first couple of seasons. Make it adult only (no concessions) and turn a blind eye to "persistent standing" the whole way through the stand. Also they should keep the Northam, aside from season tickets, as walk up only. Part of the problem with the atmosphere is that groups of lads can't stand together anymore, so everything gets diluted, hell last game i had a row of about 6 tourists taking videos on their phones all game. I'd also argue the club, if they really care about atmosphere, should be a bit more selective on who they sell to for that stand. If a group of tourists want to buy tickets in the Northam they should be advised to buy them somewhere else instead, likewise people bringing families and kids. I know it's an unfashionable thing to say but if you want a good atmosphere then you want groups of lads from the ages of 16 - 40, because like it or not they're the main ones that sing. Then there's one last part, which is our own fault as much as anyone's. In the old days of the Dell fans would naturally move out of certain areas as they got older (or had kids) these days they stay so you don't get young blood moving in. I'm not sure what you can do about this but maybe those Saints fans who are getting a bit old and grumpy for the northam should give up their season tickets and move to another part of the ground, to let some nippers that want to stand and sing take their place?
  16. Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if this was true, given the stories that i've heard about Hughes "training sessions" and the attitude of some players.

    Song for Ralph?

Hasenhüttl where ever you maybe, Fritzl's basement was in your country. But it could be worse, You could be from Pompey, Noncing up your family tree.
  18. is that serious!? Jesus mate it's just a joke picture that the club shared, chill the f*ck out.

    Song for Ralph?

Nicked from Twitter but the best i've seen so far We got Hasenhüttl-hoff Austrian Hasenhüttl-hoff Just don’t think you understand Drives kit as a car ****s Pamela We got Ralph Hasenhüttl-hoff
  21. Hasenhuttl and Sousa have already been interviewed.
  22. From what i've heard we can expect a new DOF soon too.
  23. Exactly that, if the Skates are in the draw you want them at theirs. Given they're league one and we're in the prem (no matter how badly we're doing there) we'd go in favourites for a reason and should beat them. I don't understand anyone who doesn't want that game, 99% of our games are pointless and meaningless, that's a game that never will be, so why would you not want it?
  24. It might be nostalgia, it might be blindness in my love of him as a player, but i'd take Marian as a manager for Saints right now. You know that he'd absolutely give his all, and you also know that he'd give the fanbase a positive jump straight away. Mind you it'd probably work better in the Championship, as he wouldn't come in with the pressure of keeping us up.

    Hughes OUT

Some players will always fall out with managers, it's pretty rare they'll openly talk about losing games to get him sacked though.
