  1. Can't really see beyond a comfortable 2-0 home win here, they're a better side than us at the moment and our defence is incapable of shutting out teams with pace.
  2. Well that's a f*cking **** collections of times, only one that is half decent is Chelsea being moved to 2nd instead of New Years Day with a hangover.
  3. The grammar on that hurts my head almost as much as the stupidity of the content.
  4. To be fair to Nick he's actually spot on about the inner workings of the club and the job roles going on there. There's obviously some detail missing about what people do, which i assume if he knows knows how business sensitive it is so would never share publicly (most is under NDA). I do agree with Turkish though that Nick is far too "nice" to the club today, there's some really difficult questions we should be asking about recruitment at the club, about the amount we've been spending, about the fact that seemingly three managers haven't been able to keep unity in the squad and that there's been constant divisions since Koeman left.
  5. He's put children in internment camps, https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-44518942 It's now come out those children are being put up for adoption after their parents are deported https://thehill.com/policy/international/americas/410653-ap-migrant-children-may-be-adopted-after-parents-are-deported Courts aren't even listening to parents claims on their children who've been put up for adoption https://www.stltoday.com/news/local/crime-and-courts/missouri-supreme-court-won-t-hear-adoption-challenge-from-guatemalan/article_3c886cd2-ad82-5bf6-8a34-1c2b711489f7.html If you think that child trafficking is traditional values then you have a very, very f*cked up sense of values. I'll let other people list out the other mental stuff he's done because i can't be ars*d, but siding with white nationalists (including giving them a platform on his government) is pretty f*cking bad too.
  6. The fact that a thread called the Donald trump appreciation thread exists on a southampton F.C. forum is an embarrassment to our city Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  8. If you go back through my posts you’ll find I said exactly that. Plus I’ve never been a fan of Cortese and knew what was going on behind the curtain of the club. Frankly us being sh*t doesn’t make the slightest bit of difference to my opinion. As I stated in that post I was there under Branfoot and the rest. We were hardly good then but I enjoyed football far more than I do now. It’s the premier league I hate, not our form (though our form is terrible) or our style (though our style is dull). The game is basically corrupt at the top level of every major league. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Same for me too. The only thing i really enjoy are some of the away days and the cups. The premier league (and going to st mary's especially) is a complete chore. What used to be one of the highlights of the week, even back when we were really sh*t under Branfoot, is now something i wonder why i do. You turn up to a ground where everyone sits in silence or sings the same f*cking songs that aren't funny, in their over priced replica shirts (not having a pop at Saints for this every premier league ground is the same), to watch a bunch of millionaires try not to lose a game, if you're lucky you might get one or two good ones in that bunch, but when you do they'll be sold because the media, the agents and the rich clubs will force them out. Then when you get home you have to listen to "pundits" talking about how great the clubs with money are, and how x manager (who's just spent the GDP of a small African country) is a genius for beating the teams they've just asset stripped. Honestly, as SKD said, what's the f*cking point?
  10. Can anyone genuinely think of a reason to renew their season ticket if we do stay up? The premier league is utterly, utterly rigged and we're just canon fodder for the monied clubs. Even if we do turn it around and become half decent again how long will it last? A season? Two? And then the same thing will happen, we'll be plucked apart and sink back down. Make no bones about it as much as there's a rot at the core of Saints it's not just the club that's the cause. This disgusting, corrupt, rigged league is the problem. The money is a cancer in the game and the only fix for that cancer is to cut it out. Sack off the money clubs, sky and the plastic/overseas "fans" to their "super league" and give us our game back.
  11. Yup looks like it is, must’ve been one of those “for this night only Matthew, I’m going to be... A pr*ck” moments. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Not insider knowledge this, was just a fair bit of chatter on social media the other day, he's had another falling out that led to him deleting all references to Saints from his social media, unfollowing Saints and all the rest of that jazz. I was sure someone would've brought it up on here.
  13. I'm amazed there hasn't been more chatter about Hoedt's recent falling out with the club.
  14. Gotta be honest pre game I thought to myself “what the f*ck am I doing here” on the way to the ground. But we won at Goodison a ground I’ve never seen us win at. We won on penalties. And I’ll take that every day of the week. Thought Targett and Redmond were great today, Targett despite his penalty looks like he’s stepped up a level since his loan (and I was a doubter about him). Tonight makes up for Wolves. Give me a cup and going down any day of the week. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Been saying for a while things aren't rosy behind the scenes. There's fractions in the squad and some players have far too much power.
  16. Well sadly my tickets for this have turned up, what with Wolves just gone, this midweek and Chelsea on Sunday i'm probably going to hate going to games by the end of the week
  17. Yeah i'm in the same boat, hoping they arrive this weekend as i'm heading up early doors on tuesday
  18. Has any one here received their tickets yet?
  19. I'd buy that championship manager and then use it to buy all the players that run around loads and are really fast, i'd also buy some big center backs who can "GET IT FORWARD" and a centre midfielder that can "GET INTO IM". I'd also make sure they were all English players from the lower leagues and play 442. Ultimately we'd go down rock bottom but the majority of our fans wouldn't care because it's what they're always screaming for and they can't be wrong.
  20. What we're missing and have been missing for a few seasons is a proper defensive midfielder that can break up the play and cover defence, we haven't had one since Wanyama and the reason the defence look terrible and we can't get people forward is because we don't have that cover. Plus a striker that isn't injury prone, can score goals and will be played would be nice.
  21. Pubs in Wolverhampton are a bit sh*tty in general, most are home fan only (and you have to show your ticket on the door) and the Wolves fans aren't exactly the most accommodating or friendly bunch you'll ever meet. Apparently the Great Western in the city is home and away fan friendly (and the best pub in the city for real ale but it's not big), as long as you don't wear colours and don't act like a pr*ck. The ugly mentioned the Bluebrick, never been there myself but apparently you have to pay a £2 fee to get in and it's in a hotel so i assume the beer selection will be pretty damn poor. I haven't been to Wolves in a while though but remember it's not's the nicest away day, there was a sketchy pub near the station that i can't remember (prince albert maybe) and the subways weren't the friendliest, but it might have changed now and someone here that's been more recently might offer more in the way of places.
  22. I couldn't think of anything worse than the dirge that is heavy metal, no wonder so many of you play computer games you sound like you wouldn't be out of place in a games workshop
  23. I care enough/i'm stupid enough that i'm going to this. As always i'd rather we concentrate on this and the FA cup over the league, it's one of the two chances for silverware we have and is far more important than a competition we're never going to win. Can't see us taking more than a couple of hundred up there sadly, which given it's a real chance to win at Goodison (something we've only done 5 times in our history) is a bit sh*t.
  24. Might be quicker for you to go Basingstoke to Reading then into Paddington from there? Either that or get out at Clapham and do the overground?
  25. Where did you see this? I've got a train booked from Euston and everything seems pretty normal?
