  1. I would rather have seen Billy coming off the bench than JRod yesterday. He would have given an already creaking Vidic and Ferdinand something to think about.
  2. The other thought I had on this is did you all see how unbalanced our bench was yesterday? Loaded with attacking options but only Richardson and Seaborne as defensive replacements. I have no problem with Richardson, but Seaborne? He was continually getting done up like a kipper by a L1 striker last week. Wouldn't have fancied seeing what he could do against RVP.
  3. Completely agree and this is actually a good one to discuss. I can't get my head around how many clubs seem to leave buying players until the last day of the deadline. If you look at someone like Fergie, he tends to have his targets and on the whole wraps them up way before that.
  4. Of course, we haven't seen Yoshida play yet, so we can hardly say the defence hasn't been strengthened at all.
  5. Agree with this. Would have been great to strengthen the defence, but hey, ManU's and ManC's haven't looked that great this season either. The key will be to score goals against the Wet Spams and Aston Villas of this league. Completely valid thread though and not sure why some people feel the need to jump down the OP's throat.
  6. Agree with you about Morgan but not about Rasiak.
  7. I paid £4m for him in the fantasy league. Unfortunately the points he has been awarded don't reflect his overall performances. Apart from the slip up today which unfortunately at this level get punished, he had a great game
  8. no way. He is human like the rest of us. Remember your history.
  9. He absolutely does deserve it. Misses a pen and still scores 3. Now there's a striker.
  10. A top post from you Dalek. I fully agree. Must be that hive mind of yours.
  11. Ah yes thanks. One too may beers I'm afraid
  12. Morgan will be looking at a place for les bleus soon. Great performance. But Punch for me. He has had a torrid time albeit of his own making. He is now showing he is a man and stepping up to the mark. Couldn't have asked more from him today.
  13. Can someone explain what #getthattvoff means?
  14. Punch = MOTM today. Fair play to the guy for coming good. Long may it continue.
  15. Hi Nick that's a bundle of quotes from a sample of the bitter cuuunts on their forum, not just 1 chirpy cockney. Lets see how they get on eh? Personally I think we will be fine.
  16. Rickie Adam and Punch tore them a good one for a while there. And these are defenders who have won Champions league medals. Watched game with a bunch of neutrals and none of them could understand "Why did they take their 3 best players off?" Just for entertainment, I was browsing the Wet Spam forum earlier and here are their thoughts: Really happy Southampton lost and can't deny I shouted and got excited as the third goal went in. 1st time I've been cheering on Man Utd like that Anything to wipe that smug scouse grin of that **** Adkins yeah, his face after manure's third was priceless We're going to be nowhere near relegation with this team and Allardyce's management style. Adkins! Looked like he ate a bee. Any other team and i'd of felt sorry for them, but not that muggy two bob club I'm glad they llost horrible provincial little club. Could not sell out for this game Hope they go into even more freefall from now on in. I actually cheered that goal in. Welcome to the premier league saints, hopefully a horrible long season for them. No class eh?
  17. Nice one Bearsy. Hope you got your stilletoes on as well.
  18. Pat Nevin on Five Live just said how sad he was to hear Billy going out on loan and not getting his chance in the prem
  19. Makes me laugh. They are now a top 8 team. Nowhere near top 4. And they will struggle even more if they don't buy a striker in the next 2 hours.
  20. I'm going to WOOT for Essien. That would cap an awesome day
  21. If he is off as seems likely, there's no point arguing the toss, but I don't really agree with this. IMO Billy is an out and out goal poacher/scorer. Certainly not the same type of player as Lee or Mayuka. Let's see what happens in December when Jayrod is injured and Rickie is knackered!
  22. Sad about this. I really liked him as a bloke and as a player. He never really got a chance to show what he can do. He's a goalscorer - younger and better than Holt for example. No reason he couldn't have stayed and made a name for himself. I
  23. Same here. Forest fans ****ing themselves off about it on their forum
  24. Absolutely class player in his day. Not sure about him injury wise these days, but I would still say yes please :-)
  25. We are fast becoming their feeder club.
