Haha, lol'd at the end, wasn't expecting that from the wife. Can't be more pleased with Koeman.

League Cup 4th Round Draw - Stoke (Away)
niceandfriendly replied to ozzmeister's topic in The Saints
Nowhere in England is a long trek, especially not Southampton to Stoke-on-Trent. It's a country the size of a postage stamp. Fine draw, not the best but nothing to be negative about either. We can definitely beat them, and away trips are always fun (especially when in such a small country where every away game is easily reachable) -
So happy for Nigel Pearson and Dean Hammond at Leicester doing so well. Two who'll get excellent receptions no doubt this season at St Mary's. Don't mind who wins the award as long as RK keeps going on with his brilliant job quietly as he is doing.

Because the midfield three of Schneiderlin - Cork - Wanyama looks so tasty, people seem to forget how vital Davis it to the way we play. He is a little gem. Great signing.

MATCHDAY UNCOVERED: Newcastle United
niceandfriendly replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Great to see Franny and MLT and other ex Saints back at SMS. Cortese was a hero for us and always will be, but he made some huge errors with regards to our ex players. And another thumbs up for the media team from me. They've been great for a while now. -
Uh oh... Adidas red and white stripes are always horrendous. See Sunderland and Stoke for details
-
1) If Gaston didn't return the Eterna watch from Cortese then we should fine him 2) Shane Long had his best game for us against Newc, will be good when he finds the net but he is causing problems imo 3) Yeah!

Looked like 40 to me!

Saints 4 Newcastle 0 - Post Match Comments

Well done to Koeman, Liebherr, Reed, Krueger, the players and everyone else at the club for putting together a wicked team after a summer of chaos where many fans (myself included) lost the plot and threw various dolls, dummies and rags out of the pram. Great a success, I like. -

You didn't even listen to it did you? Either that or your idea of someone being coherent requires "um" "like" "ya know" and "innit" every 5 seconds. -
Sepp Blatter considers "review of decsions"

Giving a one appeal system like in cricket will not ensure every decision is correct. It will create absolute chaos. Could be fun though. -
Ohh Graziano Italiano From Feyenoord His hair is ****in' gorgeous and in bed I'm sure he's fun If only I was single I would let him touch my bum Ohh Graziano...

Gaston Ramiez to Hull on Season Long Loan - Official
niceandfriendly replied to NorthamSteve's topic in The Saints
Osvaldo yes, but you'd only think Ramirez was a f*ck up if you think he is ****, which would be incredibly silly. But hey this is Saintsweb so silly is all de rage mon -
Ever since Cortese come in we've tended to only go for the handsome ones! Very forward thinking.
-
Nah, perhaps it's better that we get used to that fact now?! It's true, if he does well here he could move to a Top 4 club in the next few years. Koeman seems a very realistic kind of guy.
-
Yes, possibly. Or just reacting badly to news. I have certainly been called a bell end on many occasions before so perhaps you were right the first time. The board have played a blinder it seems, and I didn't see it coming, often giving them stick, so I hold my hands up for that. I'm often guilty of posting knee jerk reactions on Saints subjects, I can't help it I care too much!
-
Just because I'm only prepared to pay £2000 for a Jag XK doesn't mean that's all it's worth.
-
Please please don't let Gaston go. Would be madness. Changes games form the bench, has real quality and extremely creative. Mustn't be allowed to happen!
-
A lot of that will be down to the way he runs and his appearance. We all know some of the dinlos who post on here aren't particularly well traveled or open-minded ("Morgan is intelligent for a Frenchman" etc)
-
I know lots like to give him stick on here but got to give credit where it's due, he's been excellent so far this season, especially yesterday. If and when Gardos replaces him as first choice then we wouldn't find any/many better CBs who'll be happy to sit on the bench as backup.

Who? Burnley? QPR? West Brom? 6th may be beyond us but 8th is very reachable again.
