Just wanted to add that I totally see where the OP is coming from on this one. The Premiership is a pile a w*** at the moment. I've no interest anymore in watching John Terry and Frank Lampard (two of the people I hate more than anything in the world) prance around and get half a million a week or whatever it is. League 1 isn't good quality football, but it's at least real. No John Terry's welcome. It's nice.

That may be the case but all I heard from them inside the ground was "Play up Pompey" and "Your ground's too big for you". Pretty embarrassing chants considering recent history on both those subjects. I cannot understand for the life of me why any teams supporters wish to sing Play up Pompey at St Mary's. It's so cringeworthy.

I knew it was going to be a good day earlier when I filled up with petrol and had the exact change to give to the cashier. I wasn't wrong. Barnard was MOTM for me, he is so high on confidence right now. Our 3rd goal was bloody brilliant, Barnard played a big part in that. I am so happy right now.

I work very close to their offices and deal with some of HMRC's staff. I always give them my support over the Pompey case.

I thought they were no better and no worse than anyone we've played this season (with the exception of Norwich). Just another typical average League 1 side IMO. And we can only beat who is put in front of us.
