Have you got a source for this please? Interesting statIstic. I thought Chris Whitty’s slide from Wednesday was quite compelling in showing the rate of hospitalisation for vaccinated/unvaccinated.
-
Dunno if it’s what you’re after but this was one of the slides given at yesterdays Plan B announcement.

Oops, there’s another party. -
I don’t think we’ll go back to empty stadiums. But, going by tonight’s UK Gov briefing and other statements I’ve heard, I think there’s a possibility that COVID passports could be changed such that they’re only valid if people are triple jabbed (initial double plus the booster). Early talk from Pfizer and BioNTech is that three jabs is effective against neutralising Omicron, two jabs significantly less effective in doing so. Edit: also, at present it’s covid passport or negative LFT. That in itself maintains the opportunity for people who aren’t fully jabbed. But who knows what January and beyond will bring.

A bit more master and apprentice, I feel. Like the Sith, there can only ever be two of them (thank fuck).

This new guidance is very wishy washy and does little as far as I can tell to change much. Work from home, if you can? But not until next week. I kind of thought that was already the guidance. No restrictions (yet) on pubs and restaurants, and unless something changes in the next two weeks its just going to be “crack on” over Xmas. All s a bit pointless to me.

Good mates? Sunak was his best man. They’re godparents to each other’s kids. -
🤣 I remember that. Unsurprisingly he has since denied saying that, or that he was entirely misquoted, but I remember that comment distinctly. If if recall correctly it was either just before or just after promotion to the PL, prior to which we had averaged 20K and 26k in the lower divisions.

I also liked “the British public don’t want to hear about this, they want to see us getting on with COVID”. As if doing one precludes doing the other. Sadly, there are plenty out there who will defend the shaggy haired fat cunt all the way on this. There are plenty who are saying “it was a year ago and we all broke rules”. -

The deflection campaign begins. Now talk of a work from home instruction coming out and vaccine passports being implemented. -

It’s already in progress, they’re talk of a ‘Boris a Johnson press conference today’ plus adjustments to COVID restrictions. PMQs should be an opportunity for labour but it’ll just be reduced to the usual defence and deflect from the Tories, keep denying it was a party and say that all regulations were followed, and then sum it up all with a healthy dose of ‘but Labour’. And on we go. This whole affair should have heads rolling but not a chance here, Tories are in too deep now so lying about it and circling the wagons around no regulations broken is their only option. -
No I don’t think I will.

Yes, today they have a stadium that is 20% bigger than ours and they have plans underway to drastically improve it. The quality of the stadium doesn’t make much difference at all. Parts of Anfield are utterly shocking but one would be an idiot to suggest they’re anything other than one of the biggest clubs in the world.
-
Just checking, is this the Leeds that is going through planning applications for a 55,000 stadium? Because comparing their size to us given any sort of stadium metric is deeply flawed.

You said emergency loan earlier. Is he one one those?
-
He’s got a proper set of balls on him.
-
I hope he gives the side some decent penetration when needed. Most importantly he’s as solid as a rock when it really matters.
-
Hopefully Swansea don’t scupper our team’s hotel booking this time round.
-
Nice edit there 🤣 I guess calling it an emergency loan option was a typo….

Pretty sure it’s called unsporting behaviour these days 🙍♂️🙎♀️

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/59535538 Absolute calamity all round.

As above, emergency loan seems a perfectly fine option.

Is it a requirement to have a registered keeper on the bench? If so, we may have a lifeline?
