RESTORE OUR RIGHT TO PRIORITY TICKETS FOR HOME GAMES - PLEASE!!!!!
The Kraken replied to 42's topic in The Saints
I'm not sure why the club haven't reintroduced the membership scheme. That used to work quite well, especially when done in tandem with a loyalty-points type system. Can't say I agree with the OP though. I have a ST but I would never expect that to get me priority for extra tickets that could effectively be used for someone who hasn't been once. Getting priority for cup games or away games, absolutely should go to ST holders first, but not for getting additional home tickets, that makes little sense to expect that IMO. -
When Steve McClaren started the gravy train with £3M a year to be a f*cking useless brolly wielding baldingly ginger f*ckwit, the FA were never going to repair themselves. A more useless yet overpaid bunch of blazers you could never imagine.

The Guardian: Interview with Ralph Krueger
The Kraken replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
It's not even logic, it's blatantly just trying to be hilarious by repeating something over and over and over ad nauseam. I wouldn't mind so much if he was actually funny, which is surely the intention. But nope, just the same bland turgid repetitive predictability time and time again. i actually feel a bit sorry for him that he feels he has to put in such a stint of sh*te. -

Even by your own low standards, that's a pretty turgid effort. -

So totally out of his depth that he got promoted at the first time of asking from the Championship, and was 15th and on an upward spiral at the time of his dismissal in the Premier League. Yep, that sure sounds like someone out of his depth. Definitely. -

Imagine the sh*t storm that would go down if that happened! Barry, you've got some f*cking weird ideas of what you want the club to say and not say. -

Probably wouldn't re-open again. Try it with your account, if you like? -

England. Although CBF's point is valid, despite the daft response. -
Well that's the simple minded reasoning for it I suppose, yes.

The difference is that, in the Premier League, Puncheon should really only have been what he proved to be; a solid squad player. At the price, Ramirez was bought very much with being a first choice (if not first name on the team sheet) in mind. Puncheon was and still would be a great squad player. The finances of Ramirez are that, for a club like SFC, if he's not a first choice player he's a big burden.
-
He was a bargain. Its what sometimes happens when situations get forced one way or the other. He would always have been a great squad player to have, but his situation played its hand and that's football, oftentimes you cant just keep players that you want.

I think it's fair enough for the staff who have to work on a matchday, it enables them to bring family along should they choose.

http://www.insidefutbol.com/2012/08/17/they-will-pay-me-so-much-money-liverpool-target-gaston-ramirez-set-for-southampton/67264/ Speaking to Italian daily Corriere dello Sport, the Uruguayan explained that he could still not be 100% over the deal, although he is confident. “I’m not sure. Bologna will tell me tomorrow [today, ed.] whether I am going or not. “Bologna has reached an agreement with Southampton. There are still a few details, but the clubs have reached an agreement in principle. And the English club has reached an agreement with me.” And Ramirez explained that, financially, the offer from Southampton is simply delicious. “It is the classic ‘you cannot refuse’ offer. “I have got a four-year contract with some big numbers. “They give me so much money – €2M net per year and €1M for signing.”

Look out, the humour police are on duty.

 It's a minor gesture by a bunch of mates for a pal who has suffered potentially a career threatening injury.

He is indeed hosting some frivolities but I believe it is a requirement of guests to provide their own alcoholic beverages and narcotic substances.

Blimey, you actually speak some sense when you're not trying to be hilarious.

Saints wore red and white stripes and dark blue shorts from the inception of Southampton Football Club in 1896 to 1950. From 1950 to 1980 it was red and white stripes with black shorts. From 1980 to 1989 it was a mix of red and white tops, but always with black shorts. Then back to red and white stripes until the masterful Cortese revolution (with the sash along the way for posterity). So red and white stripes are clearly our traditional kit. And since 1950, with black shorts. I have personally come to the opinion that you are a dribbling moron. A kit does not define a side's football. The Rank Xerox kit was not great because it was worn during a period when Saints were a great side. It was a great kit because it was a great kit.
-
I think the actual shirt of Stoke is about ok, but the massive red sponsor panel looks utterly gash. Quite why kits can't just be designed with a bit of thought with this in mind is ridiculous, it's really not hard to knock up a bespoke template rather than ending up with some utterly cheap looking tat.

The next phase should be to bulldoze West Quay and put a proper indoor arena / concert venue there.
