  1. He looks like Onion.
  2. Petr Cech Seamus Coleman - John Terry - Gary Cahill - Luke Shaw Eden Hazard - Yaya Toure - Steven Gerrard - Oscar Daniel Sturridge - Luis Suarez That's what I reckon it'll be. Unless they do something else with the formation. I think the votes get collated in January and February so early season form is more of a factor.
  3. Rickie made Mediawatch on F365.
  4. Since when did being able to afford things matter to them.
  5. Then I'd suggest Saints need to reclaim our place as the most famous red and white stripes in football. Sunderland getting relegated would aid that. And no-one likes Stoke anyway so they shouldn't count.
  6. A bit of a pie in the sky aim. But if it keeps some/all of our players here then delude me up.
  7. And like I said, IMO it depends on what is being shouted (and who hears it). If genuinely hateful Semitic abuse is being shouted then I might expect a Jewish person in the vicinity to be offended by it. I wouldn't be offended, probably because I'm not Jewish. But I'd struggle to find it odd that others might. Same for genuine racist abuse too. That's just my opinion though.
  8. I'm not sure I understand. Are you saying it's not possible for anyone to get offended by something that someone might shout out loud during a football game?
  9. Just how stupid are the people you train with that they can't distinguish between two team's shirts, even after approaching you for a closer look? And just how many of these idiots do you actually train with? Or do you hide the badge and sponsor to deliberately confuse them.
  10. Depends what's being shouted, I'd have thought.
  11. If we do have stripes next season, it would be nice to avoid what we've done in recent years and Warrior have done with Stoke's kit this season in plastering a f*ck off panelled sponsors label across the front. It just looks so absolutely dreadful. Especially when in recent years we did this and the panel was cream coloured so didn't even match the white of the shirt. it can't be too much to ask, surely?
  12. Doesn't matter about the source, this is good news and therefore I'm treating it as true.
  13. GS will never die when there are so many minions so desperate to attach themselves to him by starting threads about him.
  14. NC may have had the drive, unfortunately for his panderers he didn't have the resources yet carried on as if he did. KL is the resource, a shame that some of our dinlos put her lower in the food chain than an egocentric who got away with spending money he didn't have for a bit too long.
  15. It's "you're". Dickhead.
  16. Oh dear, you've made the dickhead error of telling someone their opinion is wrong. Well done you.
  17. I was expecting "I'd go on strike".
  18. Indeed. Thankfully we'll only be allowed to talk about constant positives from here on in, in new threads. That's the way a public forum should be. No negative stuff allowed. And definitely don't do it more than once.
  19. Rooney's challenge on the defender before his first goal could easily have been given as a foul IMO, it was a challenge from the rear into the back. Not that I'm bothered, Fat Sam is a whining tw*t anyway. And the keeper should have saved it in any case, he looked like he'd been playing that game on the beach where you lift a mop into the air, spin round it 20 times then run back.
  20. Ah, but are they tropical fish? Or even from a marine tank? Specifics are needed here. If it's just a cold tank goldfish then no tears are needed, I'd say. I'll admit feeling my bottom lip quiver a bit a few years back when I found my little crab "Clyde" had made a run from my tropical tank and headed for the big outdoors (or at least what he could see of it outside the patio doors). Sadly the poor bugger only made it as far the radiator before curling up in a ball and likely thinking "I've made a big mistake".
  21. Well my other "theory" was that it was a Payne Stewart type incident. As you can probably tell, this really isn't my field of expertise in any way whatsoever!
  22. Nah, its horrible losing a pet when you've had them for so long. Dogs especially IMO. Our old family dog died nearly 20 years ago now, I'd grown up with him and I cried like a baby when we had to put him down, despite being in my early 20s! Yet I still think about him absolutely loads. Whenever I visit my parents house there's still a part of me thinking/longing to see his face pressed against the window. Dogs
  23. Mine is shot down. Don't know why, just an irrational thought I had close to when it happened that doesn't seem to have gone away. Potentially China involved somewhere in it all. Don't ask me to justify it though, I'm fully aware it's just a hatstand personal theory based on nothing but supposition.
  24. Evidence if ever there was that we need a bigger stadium, right now.
  25. Must have been a big coin to cause ligament damage....
