  1. Season ticket, not going tomorrow. Can't be arsed. Said it before but here goes again. I find an aspiration for 6th to be boring. A very good, in fact exceptional performance this season. But, since April, dull. I expect abuse, but meh. Edit: And before the dribbling morons like adrainsfc come calling: Yes, I've had enormous fun this season watching Saints. I've watched us play an amazing brand of football. Some of the games I've seen have been utterly brilliant. But, and I realise this is a minority opinion; I don't get the aspiration of finishing 8th and being delighted. I know it's an achievement. It's to be lauded. I just get to the point that I'm already finding it boring. I'm a rarer breed who actually enjoyed every day of our Championship days, even when we were sh*t. I want SFC to win something, even if its something as lowly as the JPT. Top ten finish = success? Not so much. To each their own.
  2. Calum Chambers says f*ck you.
  3. We don't wear a plain red shirt. Never have.
  4. The sash kit and the Rank Xerox were our best and most popular kits in the last 50 years. Neither of them were stripes.
  5. That bloody Mourinho. What does he know? Nothing.
  6. He'd be a fool to return, he'd risk ruining his legacy. At the moment the whole Moyes debacle is the best thing that could have happened for the Ferguson legend. It's showing that SAF really did a phenomenal job there, but also that he got out at precisely the right time. And it's not as if he needs the money.
  7. Yeah, job done extremely badly. Martinez is showing that Moyes was actually holding Everton back, they've pushed on this season and play a much better style of football. Moyes would completely ruin any semblance of style within the team. Christ knows what wages he'd demand as well.
  8. I think the idea of getting a ST is that you go to every games (or most) with the same bunch of mates. That what I do, anyway. And I still don't agree with you. My ST means that I get priority for myself, I get the same ticket every week. If I have other non ST mates who want to come to a game then I think it's unreasonable and unfair that I get to use my season ticket for that. It's not flawed logic at all, in fact, it's very much the way it should work IMO.
  9. Terrible news, Moyes is doing a fantastic job.
  10. I'm not sure why the club haven't reintroduced the membership scheme. That used to work quite well, especially when done in tandem with a loyalty-points type system. Can't say I agree with the OP though. I have a ST but I would never expect that to get me priority for extra tickets that could effectively be used for someone who hasn't been once. Getting priority for cup games or away games, absolutely should go to ST holders first, but not for getting additional home tickets, that makes little sense to expect that IMO.
  11. When Steve McClaren started the gravy train with £3M a year to be a f*cking useless brolly wielding baldingly ginger f*ckwit, the FA were never going to repair themselves. A more useless yet overpaid bunch of blazers you could never imagine.

    Bale

    He's no Gaston Ramirez.
  13. Information overload.
  14. It's not even logic, it's blatantly just trying to be hilarious by repeating something over and over and over ad nauseam. I wouldn't mind so much if he was actually funny, which is surely the intention. But nope, just the same bland turgid repetitive predictability time and time again. i actually feel a bit sorry for him that he feels he has to put in such a stint of sh*te.
  15. Even by your own low standards, that's a pretty turgid effort.
  16. So totally out of his depth that he got promoted at the first time of asking from the Championship, and was 15th and on an upward spiral at the time of his dismissal in the Premier League. Yep, that sure sounds like someone out of his depth. Definitely.
  17. Imagine the sh*t storm that would go down if that happened! Barry, you've got some f*cking weird ideas of what you want the club to say and not say.
  18. Probably wouldn't re-open again. Try it with your account, if you like?
  19. England. Although CBF's point is valid, despite the daft response.
  20. Well that's the simple minded reasoning for it I suppose, yes.
  21. The difference is that, in the Premier League, Puncheon should really only have been what he proved to be; a solid squad player. At the price, Ramirez was bought very much with being a first choice (if not first name on the team sheet) in mind. Puncheon was and still would be a great squad player. The finances of Ramirez are that, for a club like SFC, if he's not a first choice player he's a big burden.
  22. He was a bargain. Its what sometimes happens when situations get forced one way or the other. He would always have been a great squad player to have, but his situation played its hand and that's football, oftentimes you cant just keep players that you want.
  23. I think it's fair enough for the staff who have to work on a matchday, it enables them to bring family along should they choose.
