  1. Oooh, even better! In stead of only having one non-CB playing CB we’d have two!
  2. It was the worst time of my Saints supporting career too, so he’s got company.
  3. So we’ve shipped 9 in 2 and we’re now trying a midfield that has zero holding midfielders in it. Basically a 4-1-5 formation. It’s a bold strategy Cotton, let’s see if it pays off for ‘em.
  4. Oops. Dropped from YouTube’s ad payouts. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-66851698
  5. I know he’s been open but I think he’s previously tried to portray himself as just a bit of a lad and a top shagger who can pick and choose women at will. I only caught the last of half of the programme last night, but I started with the girl’s story that she was 16 and in school and he’d send round a car to pick her up and bring her to his flat. He was 30 at the time. Then it covered a sexual assault which sounded utterly grim and, according to the victim, there were people outside who heard her screaming and didn’t come in to stop it (one apologised to her years after for it). I said earlier I think this is merely the tip of the iceberg and there will be many more horrendous stories coming out of the woodwork. Good job for him he makes his money from YouTube and such like because I think it’s going to be a terrible look for him once it all starts unravelling.
  6. The geezer has hardly been hiding under a bush. As stated in the Despatches programme he’s got something like 27 million followers worldwide, including 11m on his Twitter and 6m subscribers to his YouTube channel. Quite frankly I don’t think he’s going to be “loving the publicity, good or bad” just because it “puts him back on a major stage again”, he’s already (somehow) got a huge audience of smitten kittens with the likes of weird Elon going in to bat for him.
  7. It’s not your block. But if you’ve had enough it sounds like you need to get up the Chapel end and get yourself amongst the singing group that @ImproveOurAtmosphere has got going on; sounds like those lads are making a big positive change in getting the Chapel kop up and running.
  8. From what I gather there’s been rumours around Brand for years, I can only imagine this is the tip of the iceberg and plenty more women will come out once this has aired, and the Beeb know this.
  9. Smallbone strikes me as a player we used to call a “number 12”.
  10. It was building up to that all game. I said in the match thread, we had two early corners which were cleared and Smallbone was our last man back, he was almost attacking the penalty box. It’s just cavalier nonsense football tactics. Sunderland highlighted our major flaws, Martin said we won’t make those mistakes again, we went out and did exactly the same. It’s just infuriating. He seems a nice guy with a few good ideas but looks like he’s got no idea how to set up a team to defend.
  11. Apart from saint Clark, who is blaming Bazunu?
  12. Of this there should be no surprise. Martin has already stated a few times ‘you don’t need a plan B when plan A is the right thing to do’, and ‘If it doesn’t work and I get sacked, at least I get sacked doing something I believe in. I don’t get sacked regretting that I have bowed on my principles.’ We’re stuck with this. Those quotes were before Saints, he’s clearly learnt nothing.
  13. The CBs were far from the worst players tonight. THB had a bit of a blunder playing out from the back early in but otherwise he looked alright. Charles looked decent and showed a drive unlike others when he pressed forward and got his shirt pulled for a free kick in the edge of their box. Most of the game the two young lads did ok, some minor errors but otherwise ok. We got undone by Smallbone and Downes being utterly shit, our full backs just being lost, Edozie being unable to defend, and our manager’s “pass pass pass at all costs” being woefully shown up as naive idiocy. Fuck me,so much to work on, but as you say it’s rare you look at a 1-4 home defeat and think that the CBs didn’t do all that much wrong.
  14. I’ve turned off long ago, don’t want to hear what he’s got to say, his words mean fuck all.
  15. Useless. Not a defensive midfielder, not an attacking midfielder. Just a beige non entity who gets bypassed all the time.
  16. Probably the best place for them, they might actually learn something there.
  17. My first car, Ford fiesta mk1. Slow as fuck and leaked like a sieve.
  18. Dave Prutton on comms saying “Leicester could have easily had 6, 7 or 8”. He’s not wrong. Fucking hell.
  19. I’d like to see that again, first viewing is it’s a ridiculous red card,
  20. Fuck me, Ian Nacho has got to score there. Put your head over it Ian!
  21. Sadly I’m inclined to agree. He talks a great game, sounds very knowledgable, but he has literally no idea how to set up a team defensively. After Sunderland he said we won’t make those mistakes again, and we’ve gone and made them all in the very next game. Just utterly shambolic tactics that encourage mistakes in the very worst areas. We’ll look ok against some of the lesser sides in this division but gains anyone good we’ll get cut open time and time and time again. I’d hoped Martin would have learnt from the end of his Swansea days when he actually sorted things out (7 wins in 9, 5 clean sheets). He obviously hasn’t.
  22. They said it earlier, 18 🤣
  23. Yep, exactly the same as Sunderland when he said “my mistakes, we know what we did wrong”. Incapable of learning, this lad.
  24. Well fuck me.
  25. Sulemana looks like a show pony. Extremely quick of feet but seems very slow of thought.
