  1. Exactly this. He started more than 30 league for games Girona who finished tenth in their first season promoted. Theres a reason Barca went in for him. And it wasn’t because of some idiotic notion that his legs were gone and he was a super sub.
  2. I’ll fly him there myself rofl
  3. Those who know, know.
  4. Tbf the TV sound tonight has been utterly dreadful. When the teams walked out at the start it was almost silent on TV but you could see the fans going mad. Really strange what they’ve done.

Not the best term to use. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Half-Jew
  6. Tbf that’s exactly what he wants.
  7. I’m not sure I’d take an hour out of my day for Rupert Lowe but whatever, as long as you enjoyed yourself.
  8. I was at Fulham v Palace this season, Broja came on with about ten minutes to go. Didnt do anything. I asked the Fulham fans what they thought of him, said he hadn’t had many chances to be fair but they weren’t impressed.
  9. What do you mean? He’s a very innocent man 😬
  10. I don’t disagree but they’re not looking anti Abbott today, Big Ange has come out today and said there’s no reason she shouldn’t stand, I think also someone on the NEC said they’d be voting for her. Starmer has played it very well, said it’s a matter for the NEC but he only wants the highest quality candidates to put in front of the electorate. We all know what he means by that, it’s unambiguous without outright saying it.
  11. They’re having a bit of a stumble today. The Diane Abbott situation should have been resolved ages ago but we’ve still got the will-she won’t-she stand nonsense going on. Just get on with it, make it clear she’s not standing, it’s a vote winner for some inside the party who have had enough of the mental left cranks and it’s definitely appealing to swing voters.
  12. Burnley had a really poor window, spent all that money but their team never really looked all that much better than the one that got promoted.
  13. Still think it’s such a shame they’re putting up such a generic blob of flats and not making more of the gasworks. Dublin did theirs properly and I think it looks great.
  14. Just the two posts so far saying “I won’t be paying any attention”. Cracking work, and the CoT haven’t even got started yet!
  15. 4 league games for PSV and 3 for their reserves over the course of a whole season suggests he might struggle to contribute anything other than a financial drain.
  16. What a complete and utter waste of police time. Ridiculous.
  17. Jack Clarke looked full of promise prior to his injury; he tore us to pieces at their place earlier in the season. Not sure how he's been since he got back (March-time I think) but a total of 15 goals from 40 league appearances is pretty impressive for someone who isn't a striker. His agent is Ian Harte and he's been vocal that Sunderland won't be able to match his wage demands.
  18. I have Norwich in mind, seem to recall a £3m price tag being mooted. Edit: or maybe it was Fulham actually.
  19. 100% agree. A week or so ago I had a look into his stats from Brighton last year, post below: This season at Brighton he’s started 12 games and come on as sub in 12. So either unused sub or not in the squad in 14 league games. Of the games he’s started, he’s only twice made it past the 60 minute mark before getting hooked. And he’s scored zero goals, assisted 1. He’s clearly still a pretty good player at some sort of level, but just such a risk for anyone to take as he can’t get close to finishing a 90 minute game. https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/adam-lallana/leistungsdaten/spieler/43530
  20. I think the officials must have been told not to referee it as if were a PL game. There were a few quite close offside calls which, in the PL, they would let play run with the lino keeping the flag down. Noticeably the flag went up for all of those reasonably tight decisions. (TBF its one area that massively annoys me in the PL, the abundance of caution when everyone can see its offside but they let play go on anyway). Also there really weren't many/any really controversial incidents in the game and certainly no blunders from the officials. Overall it was light touch VAR and I think more people might be sympathetic to using VAR if it could be done more like that.
  21. The Tory campaign is going ever so well 🤣
  22. You’re still peddling that lie are you? Absolutely full of it.
