I remember when Kompany strode forward for City once, when they needed a win to close in on the title, and he rifled one into the top corner. What a strike. Sadly Stephens is not Kompany.

It's basically like we're playing 523 which is completely imbalanced. So Scienza and Matsuki are coming deeper meaning it's more like a 541. At home. No wonder we're devoid of attacking ideas. Get Wood or Stephens off and stick another CM or attacker on please God. How can thousands of fans see it but the people around the club can't. If you want to play the 3 CBs, maybe do it away from home but Tonda has shown no tactical flexibility since he's been here.

Ever get the feeling you just wasted 45 minutes of your life? Still.... clean sheet is still on.

On the plus side, the bench looks strong. Maybe a better second half than we're used to under Tonda.

At least Matsuki is trying.

Manning's defensive positioning really sucks. So many positions that still need to be improved upon to make us in any way challengers in this league.

I know there has been a lot of football but some of those seem to be changes for changes sake. That said: A) it makes the bench strong as balls B) Jelert, Bragg, Archer and Matsuki did make decent cameos last game and C) The standard recent first choice XI haven't exactly shone like earlier in Tonda's reign and this will keep them on their toes. It's a brave decision but it does seen to be rewarding the sub performances from the Brum game. Just hope it's enough.

There's something about Matsuki... This improved from the first half and a draw isn't a bad result but we need to start winning. 4 games without a win now.

If we win this I will give all the money in my piggy bank to charity. Matsuki coming on! The tide is turning.

Have to get Tonda sent off too and level the playing field.

If our next manager goes to 4 at the back, and keeps it game in game out, I think I'm going to start a shrine to that person in my house. Archer!

I'm watching and I'm not loving it. No Scienza no party.

I hate 3CBs, always have. This question is one of the easiest to answer. The worrying thing is that while our performances improved a bit after he was brought in as interim, Tonda seems wedded to the 3 CBs. The issue is, presently, we have no right backs fit and two left backs that aren't good defenders. Sort that out first. Also our better two CBs this season (low bar) have been THB and Wood, Jack is jack and I've not been sold on Quarshie since he signed. Edwards meanwhile isn't even getting a look in. I think it's hideously ironic that two positions we have quantity (CB and striker) are the two positions that need improving most.

Just no defending that. They were shit and they won. We were just shit. Eckert brought our two brightest attacking talents off early and left 3 CBs on all game. I was never convinced by Eckert and I'm even less so now. I hope this is not a long term appointment. Right now I can't see us even finishing top half of the table. We need to start building for next season and that includes a manager.

Oh I'm not sure, I reckon they have it in them to see us in the division below.

Take off a defender and put Archer on ffs. Why in the holy hell do we still have 3 CBs on the pitch. I don't care how many times I say it, I don't, and will never, like 3 CBs.

So our two best attacking talents have been subbed off. Tonda really is settling for a point here. I guess us fans are now hoping for another set piece miracle if we want a win. I can see Oxford winning this.
