So my wife is a Norwich fan and thinks they're going down this season. I agree. (Though won't say as much to her.) Who do you think is getting relegated this season from the Prem? And who will go up from the Championship? (Am aware there's a lot of the transfer window to go; predictions can be revisited in September.) For me, it's Watford, Norwich and Leicester going down, Middlesbrough, Hull and Wolves up. You?

Would have preferred an "easier" side to play, as I'd like to see us in the group stages. Nevertheless if we can find form quickly then we can beat anyone on our day. I actually think being home in the first leg will help settle some nerves.

I've seen Ramirez mentioned on here a lot recently in relation to him being a back up player. Has Koeman said anything along these lines? I'd assumed he will be sent back out on loan/sold.

Still think he's too short, you get much more for your money with a Peter Crouch or a Lacina Traore! Seriously will be well pleased with Clasie. The Dutch Xavi, you must have something about you to be called that. The team is getting there. We need the obvious centre back recruit, hopefully Van Dijk, and maybe one more midfield recruit. After that any player we bring in is a squad bonus, like another keeper, another winger or another striker.

I'd stick Palace in with those teams. Think they will have a good season with a couple more decent signings. I'd love United to buy Kane and Lloris. Give Spurs a taste of their medicine. (and with this post thus ends my self imposed holiday exile!)

I read that as Sturridge (semi-permanently Injured anyway), Lallana, Markovic, Coutinho and Firmino, with the others either out this summer or bit part players. Definitely room for another striker, but they really do need to get rid of a lot of wages.

Yeah and had they held on to him that long they'd have been a stable Prem club for a long time. The fact that they stayed up by the width of the skidmark in their knickers was testament to how good a job he was doing there before being hounded out.
