    Will Still

It didn't work. God knows who we bring in but I'd take someone that just plays the best players I the best positions in the best formation. We all know the issues are bigger than just the manager but at least someone that can come in and steady the ship, maybe pick up a few wins and get us to the January transfer window in a reasonable league position that we can push on from.

Well we'd win League One with him. Maybe even the current version of the JPT too.

Yep, but 36 years of supporting Saints we've often suffered for inept decisions. Predominantly so. We're not long away from hitting our rock bottom as it stands. Changes need to be made. Again.

They make the mistakes, they pay for them. Still Out. IDGAF In.
  5. 3cbs again. Yay. Not. Fail to win this and Will is in big trouble.
  6. The issue is predominantly with SR, and i don't believe in chopping and changing managers Willy nilly but time is already running out for him. I don't fully blame Will but when he joined we were led to believe his favourite formation was 4231 and so far we've played 3CBs in a majority of games which doesn't suit us and I will never like it. I voted sack because sometimes that's what you need to do to change things but Will won't be sacked... yet, but we need to see some kind of learning curve against Preston. Drop the 3CBs and just go for it. Win against Preston and we should get some confidence. Lose and he's living on borrowed time.
  7. I'll take a shit win over a shit side when we have a depleted team but we need to get that shit win. Half time score is promising but even though I'm not watching it, just reading your comments gives me all I need to know about our performance. Glad for Leo though.
  8. Not a fan of the line up. I'm not Still Out yet but failure to win today would definitely take me closer. I want him to get to January and see it he's learned the positions we need players in (we all know what those are). Blackburn, Preston, QPR and Wednesday in the next 4 games. 9 points or better (and the positivity that would bring us) is about acceptable for a club that still wants to get promoted.
  9. I forgot to put the game on after half time. Probably a decent decision in hindsight.
  10. And if we take off our strikers, we won't have anybody to miss chances. Perfect.
  11. Turned on the game (I'm at work, shhh), we almost immediately score then we shit the bed. Still, beats a 0-0. At least the fans had something to cheer.
  12. Him and Ross might as well have their own Physio.

    Adam Lallana

Echoes of the Home Alone house there. Just me? 😁
  14. I left home for work after the Archer chance on around 20 minutes, sounds like we did better after that. Bench is strong, we can still get the 3 points here. UTS
  15. Normally I'd be pleased to see the back of the International break but not so sure this time. No Stewart and 3 CBs again. Still Welington back is a bonus I guess. Before the season started we'd have put this down as a guaranteed 3 points. Now... God knows. I miss most of this game as I'm off to work so here's the ever unpredictable prediction wheel. Screen_Recording_20251018_112823_Samsung Internet.mp4 Come on Saints, prove it wrong.
  16. Probably my old person memory but I could have sworn blind until I was blue in the face that we signed Dryden direct from Exeter. 15 year old me probably wasn't paying enough attention.
  17. Sad for him, I just hope he excellent bouncebackability.
  18. Sorry, been busy...
  19. Don't like 3 CBs and never will but we were lopsided last week so hopefully this balances it out a bit. Don't hate that line up. Just let Ross loose.
  20. It's not how you start It's how you finish. Quote from someone.
  21. Here it is, the moment you haven't been waiting for. The mostly unreliable prediction wheel. More useless even than posting pretty Irish girls on the match thread. Well following a needed if somewhat iffy win against Sheff Utd, surely it will predict a win for the mighty Saints. Screen_Recording_20251004_103124_Samsung Internet.mp4 No. No it won't. So there you have it, another spanking. Thank god it's pretty useless. I shall be drunk on the Bermondsey beer mile today so will be relying on SWF to keep me updated as Derby's goals fly in. 😎

Super Saints who sit in the lower mid echelons of the Championship presently. 😜
  23. I watched the Norwich vs WBA game last night for my sins, WBA were very well organised and their GK was excellent, Griffiths. I know Ryan Mason has a lot to prove as a coach, but on paper, their team looks pretty decent, especially in attack. Charlie Taylor took a knock last night but I still think it's probable that they'll be in the promotion hunt if they, like us, can click long term. Norwich on the other hand... no chance. Liam Manning is a Canaries fan but he has a big job on his hands there. They lack quality.
