  1. The old one had structural issues and was ripped down. I think it was originally behind the now ML Pavilion. So yes, new location. 4G pitch was done 1st of course.
  2. no this is the most laughable by far, anyway we were very close to bierhoff but could not agree personal terms
  3. Should have known once a wum always a wum
  4. No, he meant the home kit for sure.
  5. Where's Turkish gone on this thread since the leak? I'm in need of a sash pun. Or was he full of ****?
  6. Would swap up duricic for Elia and give long another go up top. I understand one of the reasons for dropping pelle tactically vs chelsea to expose the cb's. tbh Pelle has been poor for ages and gives us very little uptop when off form. He is so static and that makes us totally one dimensional. When rickie was off form, at least his 1st touch was good and he would pull players out of position so other players could find space in behind.
  7. Djuricic clearly has ability, but is lightweight and has yet to deliver a goal or an assist. Although tbf he should have had a pen vs Liverpool. As much as Ramirez was poor defensively and gave the ball away cheaply at times, at least he could usually produce that killer ball and assist and the odd goal (from distance too). Better option to have on the bench IMO to chase a game, though an expensive one.
  8. I think Clyne will be very hard to replace. I think he is by far the best right back I have seen us have (since 89) whilst he he has gone a little off the boil recently I thought he was decent vs chelsea. Clyne is everything you want in a rb. Koeman rates him massively.
  9. Ahhh you're back! been quiet since the supposed leak. So what are your thoughts Turkish? You seemed convinced on a home sash. Still sticking with that?
  10. IMO it is all about acronyms. I do use BPL (barclays premier league) on social media. Premier League takes alot longer to type on any device than BPL. Just 'cos i'm lazy. People say EPL here in Canada. I have no problem with that. I always call it "The Premier League". It's better than multiple numpty's (including many pro's) calling it "The Premiership" when it hasnt been called that since 2007! Anyway.....any kit news?
  11. This. I do think Poch was the better manager, but he lacked personality....publicly at least. I'm mostdef on the bus.
  12. Sums up my feelings perfectly. Proud of the team today. jwp in particular was a waste of a shirt I am sad to say. That said, I agreed with all the subs but they needed to deliver more. I would have bought on Pelle earlier to try and hold the ball up when we really needed it 2nd half. Long did a good shift 1st half but didn't get involved or hold the ball in the 2nd. good to see Clyne back to his best and Toby good as always. A lot of good performances today but special shout outs to Morgan, Forster, Mane.
  13. Yes, and is also co owner of........Seattle ****ehawks. That whole Paul Allen charade was a little odd, seemed to be facilitated by (alleged) 3rd parties and went very sour, but you can safely say he knows who we are. I don't know, it sounds very odd to me but it was an interesting comment. The colour scheme is a little leftfield unless for commercial reasons. This could be a big deal or total horse****e. If it is a wind up, it's a pretty good one.
  14. Just to add to the leak news, I have been chatting on PM and on twitter with the "leaker". This has not come from the club, his contact is at the retail/supply/manufacturer end, and is likely to be supplying other teams designs to the website. The source has advised that the away was designed at specific request of club ownership/board regarding a new North American partnership. His contact also added "look who was looking to buy the club previously". Of course it could be a complete red herring, but the dots are joining up and in previous years this kind of thing has usually been right. If it is a hoax it's a bloody good one!
  15. Don't hold back ur feelings, just tell us how you feel
  16. Yes it is, but johnny disbelieves me or can't be bothered to google. Saints are getting the full Tiro15 training range as per below. It is available now as I said, and being used in other leagues now. http://www.teamsportdirect.co.uk/categories/Adidas/Adidas-Training-Range-2015/Adidas-Tiro-15-Training The Euro giants just get their pick of colour schemes and small detailing from the same Tiro 15 range. They also get a separate champions league range using different templates for the euro weeks.
  17. The template looks very similar (but not exact) if you mean literally. The colours are reversed for a start, we normally have a centre red stripe and they normally have white. The design above is all red sleeves and tapered in towards the midriff. FYI if this "leak" is not a red herring, It would really tie in with our aims to improve the woeful commercial side of our club. Tottenham have a 4 year partnership deal with my MLS club TFC. I know that Ralph has been to a game and been in dialogue with TFC about commercial opportunities. http://www.torontofc.ca/news/2014/04/toronto-host-tottenham-friendly A deal with an MLS club would kind of be a logical step, could this be a hint of a partnership with The Sounders? Pre-season tour anyone?
  18. Here is a reply from the guy who posted the images on his site: Lee FootyKit Tattam ‏@live4footyshirt 6h6 hours ago @saint_nick1980 when I posted earlier in the day I wasn't too sure, but then I received a new image and info on the away kit. 99% Certain FYI the away shorts are Blue not Black. I agree with Adrian that the adidas badge would look better on the side, Stoke are with Warrior now though who are poor IMO. Turkish, what are you saying about this? Thought you were sure the home was Sash?....
  19. Looked at that sheet closely and it looks plausible. Gonna chat to the source on Twitter and see if I can find out anymore.
  20. Ok job, let me try again.... The 2015/16 Adidas training range is out now and is being used in different parts of the world including MLS. Google it bro.
  21. They issued those a while ago and they are in use now in MLS.
  22. despite the annoying yellow font, I agree with B rabbit on this one. We have achieved nothing yet. Both the cup draw and points cushion are favourable, but we are a way off securing a European spot yet.
  23. Ever since I moved here I have been frustrated with how much effort Adidas goes to for MLS clubs compared to most English clubs. The Bespoke elements and variations in details like customised socks, watermarks, customised printing etc. It's probably the difference between Adidas NA and Adidas Europe, not to mention Adidas's contract to supply the whole league. Also every team gets a full fanwear range of leisurewear such as Adidas originals tee's and alternative track tops, scarfs hats etc. It did mention in our press release that we would have a fanwear collection, so I look forward to seeing what this consists of.
  24. Interesting topic this one. I think we all knew that her net worth was around those figures, but with FFP and with our ethos it is important to become self sustainable. Commercially, we are so behind the game it's untrue. Fair play to her for funding Staplewood, thats huge for us and strengthens our infrastructure. Stadium expansion isnt a necessity, but if she wants to continue to set the club up for the future then I would be delighted to see her invest in an expansion to assist the club in growing organically in the future.
