  1. Much better this week after last week's shocking 2nd half. Well deserved point, if being critical perhaps we were a bit negative today. Gaston was great in that short cameo, I hope we see more. Jay struggling with foot injury for a little while
  2. Poor 1st 20 mins, then the better side without pulling up any trees. Davis shaky (no surprise). Worst 2nd half I can remember, lack of desire, tactically poor, passing appalling, sititng too deep, poor subs, Davis shaky again. what a contrast from the complete opposite to Chelsea. Leicester great 2nd half and should have won
  3. no idea on main shirt sponsor but also a great opportunity to increase commercial rev
  4. Hope he comes good, great opportunity for him now although history would suggest no point in getting hopes up. Still believe there is a good maverick in there somewhere. Unlike any player we have in the squad.
  5. Did not see the game tonight, but going on the 3 league games I have watched on TV this year I'm not very surprised. Koeman stated the tactics before hand and said we would be going direct, a tactic we seem to be adopting a lot more this season. I hate watching long ball and totally bypassing the midfield. Our passing and ball retention when we have tried to play has been appalling too. Replacements have been poor up to now when we really needed them to hit the ground running. Still think we need a striker who can rotate with Pele. Have been worried by Koeman's comments after defeats even last season but surely he is not that blind? I thought he was protecting the players, but perhaps he is blinkered after all? Europa League massive anti-climax. Thought we were ready for a run/to compete but from the way we have played this year obviously I was wrong. We are not ready, therefore an exit at this stage may not be the worst thing in the world so we can get back to what made us successful. Norwich massive game and strong reaction required.
  6. Yeah, this is a big opportunity for the board. Commercially we have been poor. However there have been alot more partners join over the last few months which is encouraging. Seems the rapidly growing Under Armour will be our long term kit suppliers and they are not shy of a few quid so will surely pay going rate at least. The main sponsor though is another great opportunity to bridge the gap.
  7. Decent loan signing in an area we are really short of experience. Minimal risk for the club. Need a number #1 left sided CB and then we look sharp.
  8. Bradley's wages are huge so can't see that happening. Decent player but rather have Clasie and Vic. Giovinco though has been brilliant, but again DP wages.

Really disappointing if we miss out, this saga has been very odd to say the least. Having agreed the loan you would think we would be in pole with AM. Clearly there has been a huge breakdown in that relationship and I think that will ultimately cost us. Quite who is at fault is unclear but either way we miss out which is very disappointing and now looking at starting the season with one of last seasons back 5 very worrying IMO.
  11. sounds underwhelming, he can play a number of positions but no point if he is crap. Odd
  12. Training kit has the badge screen printed not woven. looks poor, disappointing.
  13. I like Elia, a true (inconsistent) wide player. everyone remembers Newcastle but he had a few other decent games like utd away. yes, he was very quiet in others but it would be worth a punt if v small fee and full preseason IMO
  14. Terrible eyebrows. Good luck to him
  15. From his comments pre and early season, it seemed to me that Ron was planning and happy to have gaston in the sqaud. I think it was a last minute board decision to get his wages off the books when a healthy offer from hull arrived. Again he had a bad time in the main at hull & I don't think he wanted to go there really and tbh who could blame him. I expect that if we get an offer for a perm transfer he will leave on the cheap. I do think however that there is a chance he will stay this season. I still believe he has the ability to pick that pass even though he is a long way from earning a start. would be a decent option off the bench when teams sit back against us at St Mary's even if an expensive one.
  16. Get over yourself pal
  17. Looks an exciting prospect. Not the finished article but looks a real talent that needs developing. Getting a full call up could be a great time to bring him in before price rockets. We lack decent forward options.
  18. Home kits are for tradition & away for experimentation IMO. Every club has had a variety of different colour away kits. As much as I love yellow and blue, you can't have it every year. Definate Marmite but I really like it, much prefer to this years look.
  19. Would love to see an image of the home kit in regular sizing, not the kids if anyone got one?
  20. Home kit and GK home kit now on display in westquay
  21. kit 3 for the skates i think was selected
  22. Speculation on that came from the source who leaked the buyers guide for the Home & Away kits to www.liveforfootballshirts.com. They said that the Green away kit was a part of a North American partnership the club had signed. Gave hints that this partnership was linked to Americans previously interested with buying the club in the past. Paul Allen+Green&Blue (though a darker shade?)=Seattle Seahawks? Despite the media frenzy, the Paul Allen thing was never substantiated from what I know. This source was obviously right on the kits. No doubt we have been looking at opportunities in North America but all sound's a bit elaborate to me.
