Osvaldo is a quality player. However he really should have been sent off on Saturday. 1st booking was totally needless & petulant. 2nd challenge was a little rash and dumb on a yellow. Saints catering (& prem/football league clubs in general) is appalling. The Americans & Canadian catering is usually pretty amazing. At Toronto fc food & beer is unbelievable. Bacon on a stick, Butter Chicken Fries, Massive chicken fingers, pizza. List is endless. About 8 different types of beer too on pump & bottles. no problem getting served either. Unfortunately the football is shocking.... Better than nothing I suppose : /

I think that is an amazing badge. Best I have seen. If we modernised just a touch and got rid of the "supporters" bit and replaced with 1885 or something that would be a huge winner to replace the existing one imo.

Funny thread. Everybody seems to be jumping the gun one way or another. Let's deal with the facts...We have almost certainly had a bid accepted, Osvaldo has turned down at least one offer from us. We are still pursuing the deal, therefore we must be receiving encouragement from Osvaldo's camp. Mp and NC are not fools and if he had no inclination of joing saints fc this would have been over long ago. If you want to get a quality player, there will always be compeition for his signature. No one can blame him if he would rather play at Inter or even Spurs. Most would. IMO this will only be truely over if we sign somebody else or Osvaldo signs for another club. Plenty of twists and turns to come so baton down the hatchet and keep calm gentlemen!

What alot of people are forgetting (or just didn't know), is that Rickie WAS injured and playing through the pain in the run in last season. I called it long before Rickie mentioned it at the end of the season. People moaned about form, but that is mainly because of his injury effecting his game....let's be honest he is not the most mobile even when fit! I am assuming a foot injury as he had an issue with jumping, but I do not know exactly what the injury was....anyone know???
